Clearly the ones complaining of the deaths in Iraq have never studied the body counts in the Revolution, Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea, or Viet Nam.
Clearly, WSKU, you are trying to compare the above wars to a direct invasion of ours. The Revolution was fought for USA independence; the Civil War was just that, Americans fighting Americans; WW1, we had allies who also sustained casualties, WWII, we had allies who also sustained casualties, Korea was a UN endeavor with allies who also sustained casualities, and of course, Viet Nam, an escalated mistake but with allies that also sustained casualties. We preemptively invaded Iraq ~ preemptively ~ that makes the USA the aggressor ~ the preemptor. AND ~ we really have never had many allies ~ anyway any allies that would take a body count like we have taken. There is, rationally, no ethical reason for this war and that is the reason that we have had few effective allies in this war and take almost the full body count, except, of course, the tremendous Iraqi civilian body count.
