ban_islam:

Are you a moron?

Were you dropped on your head at birth? I bet the doctor slapped your mom just after he slapped you.

How's your local chapter of the KKK going?

Still screwin' your sister? Given up on your mom already?

Still scrubbing hard to remove that red mark from around your neck?

Just more proof that a magic skyman doesn't exist-since we all think He'd do our bidding against our enemies.

Muslims think freedom/democracy is evil and we in the West are starting to realize their death cult Islam is evil. Who's right? Ultimately whoever manages to over-power the other with their ideology. No god needed, just pure determination, resources and deadly force-winner takes all.

Hey muslim, ever heard of the psychological term called 'projection'? Everything you said about Bush, is exactly what the jihadists/al qaeda/muslims believe: "kill or convert all the non-muslims until there is no more disbelief in the world." That's Islam in a nutshell and the war on terror is our response to the global jihad to islamify the world.

Did you think the West was just going to lie down and play dead and let muslims take over our lands, rape our women and destroy our freedom and democracy? Muslims riot over cartoons, we too can be offended and have values that we'll fight to the death for.

It's a WIN-WIN situation for both sides. I say, LET's TAKE

Posted by emsaund1 at 07:34 PM : Jul 14, 2007

Won't happen because Bush's goal of invading Iraq had nothing to to with Islamic terrorism or taking out Saddam. It's one step in the neoconservative insanity of "spreading (western style Christian only) democracy" throughout the Middle-East (and later the world) and anything short of that he'll consider a failure. He is determined that he is on a mission form God and will kill anyone who doesn't convert to his way of thinking in the region. In other words he's insane. A nut. A lunatic. As bad as any religious fanatic you'll ever see. He honestly believes this is a real crusade, a real mission from god and that history will thank him for it. He's as mad, as crazy, as Hitler ever was, on a good day. He doesn't need to go to prison, he needs to be confined to an insane asylum for the rest of his miserable pathetic life, for his good and the good of the rest of the sane world.

If this was just about Iraqi oil, with what we have spent on the war, we could have bought every drop that they could ever produce from Saddam; this is about more than oil.

Posted by AJMarine1 at 11:51 AM : Jul 14, 2007

It's not just about oil, but you must also remember that all of the money spent on this war came from the American taxpayers. It didn't cost Bush and Cheney's friends in the oil business one cent. We're the ones paying for the war, just as we'll be the ones paying the increased gouging at the pump as they bring the oil here. They win on both sides and we get scre*wed in both directions. For them this war has been all pure profit.

Shortly after we left our liberal democrats in congress decided to cut those funds.
Posted by scottyusa at 09:45 AM : Jul 14, 2007

I beg to differ - cutting off funds to Vietnam was a bipartisan effort.
Posted by roger_inkart at 09:57 AM : Jul 14, 2007

It was indeed and was rightfully widely supported by the vast majority of the American people, just as getting out of Iraq is now.

Works for me. Let's pack up what we want to take, destroy the rest and get out now. No residual forces, no bases, nothing. Just get the Fu*ck out! NOW!

Bush is the mother-of-all flip-floppers

BUSH: "Started off as a humanitarian mission and it changed into a nation-building mission, and that's where the mission went wrong. The mission was changed. And as a result, our nation paid a price. And so I don't think our troops ought to be used for what's called nation-building. I think our troops ought to be used to fight and win war. I think our troops ought to be used to help overthrow the dictator when it's in our best interests. But in this case it was a nation-building exercise, and same with Haiti. I wouldn't have supported either."

"The vice president and I have a disagreement about the use of troops. He believes in nation-building. I would be very careful about using our troops as nation builders."

Yes, Bush is not flip flopping, but he is also not learning from his mistakes which makes in unintelligent or just plain arrogrant. You put your hand on the hot stove you learn right. The American people were split on going to war. The American people were lead to believe false information. The American people were for war against Al Qaeda not Iraqi. telecom_1, your strong leader has lied to this country and gave little to no respect to the people of this country. The people who he is suppose to be representing.

Thank God for strong leaders like President George W Bush who won't run from terrorists. George is not flip flopping and waffling like others but is doing what he said he was going to do it. The congress voted to go to Iraq because America demanded justice.

Hopefully, Bush listens up and hears not what the country is asking but also the Iraqi government is saying. It is time to leave and his (Bush's) actions should not be swept away. It time people get together and demand his impeachment. The world should demand his actions be taken to the world court concerning his total disregard for human life.

OK, it's official, the president of Iraq has officially announced they don't need us anymore. The job is finished, the U.S. can declare "victory" and go home.

George Bush and the Republicans are destroying the all-voluntary military. How many good soldiers who would have spent their life in the forces will now quit and actively try to talk their children out of joining? How many officers who are forced to deal with recruits that are obese, or overly uneducated, or even criminals, will drop out when they can? How many military families are being destroyed by the sheer absence of a father and/or a mother for so long and for so many tours? And, Iraq just gets worse and worse. Bush and Company are weakening America and the GOP needs to stand up to the plate and stop him. It's time for the GOP to put country before party.

Experts cite three causes of eroding morale among military families: longer and multiple deployments, the continued chaos in Baghdad, and the growing death toll %u2014 April, May and June were the deadliest three months for American troops since the invasion of Iraq in March 2003.

"Among military members and their immediate families who responded to a national New York Times/CBS News poll in May, two-thirds said things were going badly, compared with just over half, about 53 percent, a year ago. Fewer than half of the families and military members said the United States did the right thing in invading Iraq. A year ago more than half held that view, according to the a similar poll taken last July. The May poll had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 7 percentage points."

radiob,

You ask, "Come on Lars think you have access to a wealth of knowledge and what actions have worked against terrorist surely you can write your own thoughts on this."

His other posts on these blogs suggest that he cannot.
In fact, he has no knowledge whatsoever on this. All he does is start from a position of unjustified hate and fear, seek out texts that he agrees with, without even reading them, or checking for probity, then trolls them in various topics all over this board.

Possibly mildly autistic, sexually repressed, raised in an environment of intolerance, possibly with similar parents who never let him think for himself, he is now probably unable to.

I have only pity for such people, but not to forget sometimes people like him can become president...

What Thomas Jefferson learned from the Muslim book of jihad

Thomas Jefferson knew about fascist nazi islam..... he killed plenty of them....

In 1786 Jefferson and John Adams went to negotiate with Tripoli's envoy to London, Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdrahaman or (Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja). They asked him by what right he extorted money and took slaves. Jefferson reported to Secretary of State John Jay, and to the Congress:

The ambassador answered us that [the right] was founded on the Laws of the Prophet (Mohammed), that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have answered their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Mussulman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to heaven.

War has been declared on Christians, Jews, non-Muslims and secularists worldwide by Islamic extremists...simply because we are infidels according to their belief. As Islamic fundamentalism spreads its tentacles worldwide, it is crucial for the people of the Western world to understand the danger, know what to expect, and know what to do about it.

Threats and realities of forced conversions to Islam, beheadings, torture and murder are quickly becoming commonplace. They%u2019re rarely mentioned in the news and when they are, it%u2019s with a disclaimer%u2026the word %u201Cinsurgent%u201D has replaced the truth of %u201Cterrorists.%u201D
