"My God wants everyone to accept him of their own "FREE" will without coercion. If you have to be 'forced' then your love for him would be a fake." - ToolMangler

He does threaten eternal torture by fire to all who don't accept Him.

I don't know what you call that. I call it coercion of an extremist, terrorist type.

I agree 'J' thats why I make a distinction about being a thinking Christian. I have no problem with evolution. GOD has eternity to do what he wants, why rush things into 6 days. People love to blame GOD for everything they do that is stupid (it was GODS will). or they say "The Devil made me do it", they almost never 'own up to it'.
"Kill The unbelievers" if my GOD cannot stand questions then he would not be my GOD. I question everything and then think and pray about it. Most times my questions are answered. All of my prayers are answered, (sometimes the answer is 'NO!'

osama is twice the man that snake, bush, is.

osama will be remembered as a freedom fighter fighting against overwhelming odds...

while bush will be remembered as an incompetent, faith professing ( "gawd made me do it" ) redneck piece of war making dixie trash.

ha,ha,ha.

Despite all the anti-Muslim propaganda posted on these boards by xenophobic hysterical extremists, the facts are that Muslims are not a unified group. There is no "Muslim leadership" to lead them anywhere, holy war or anywhere else.

Muslims are similar to Christian Protestants, they all have their own little cliques that do not follow other cliques. That's what Imams are for, to lead their little cliques.

The Quran is like the Bible, it can be interpreted to mean whatever a person wants it to mean.

Those who keep claiming "Muslims are taking over the world," or the Quran has any specific interpretion demonstrate they do not know what they are talking about.

"Muslim extremists" do not represent the majority of Muslims anymore so than Pat Robertson represents all Christians.

Muslims as a group are NOT "waging war on the west." Nor are they attempting to "take over the west."

Those are outright lies.

ToolMangler,,,, I know.. I'm just pissed at all theses religions -- They've all contributed to the problem & none are taking responsibility especially Christians..
. They need to stop the problems they all have created & correct 2,000 years of taught ignorance.

I will make my position clear. I 'am' a thinking Christian and here are some of the things I think about.

(1) If a person has to be threatened with pain or death to make them become Christian then I don't want them to be Christian. I would not trust them.

(2) I do not want anyone to become christian because 'I' say so. They should learn about the God I worship through their own study and life experience. My God does not want people to accept him through stupid non_thinking reaction to something they were told.

(3) My God wants everyone to accept him of their own "FREE" will without coercion. If you have to be 'forced' then your love for him would be a fake.

(4) The Bible 'is' the word of GOD. Man has tried to change it to suit his own wishes but the
"Words of GOD" are still there, We just have to study and pray for guidance to find them.

(5) God gave us 10 (ten) commandments, man appended them for his own desires. Jesus boiled them down to 2 (two) commandments that encompass the original 10 fully. Anything else is mans own folly.

(6) I do not judge anyone based on their religion, Judgement is left to GOD, he is the only one with the power to do anything about it. If I were to try to judge you then I would be claiming god like powers.

I will add to this list as I see the need.
