First off do not use the phrase the world is flat I have a patent on it(just kidding) second ff1 is correct in this, the IED's are not made in Iran they are made in China and then sold to Iran which are in turned smuggled into Iraq. Then again I wonder if ff1 knew that one can ascertain who made what catsup by a color test? Them patents and copyrights, sure do get in the way along with marking by machines in the cutting process of metal.

"Re: would like to know Lara Logan's source for the assertion that the suicide bomber was associated with Al Qaeda."

From the video supplied with an accompanying article, Ms. Logan's 'source' for this information appears to be none other than Ahmad Chalabi, as another poster pointed out- a known wanted criminal, and chronic habbitual liar.

Are you defending terror groups as well? You defend terror groups, bash the United States, bash soldiers. You have the nerve to defend Iran as well as Al-Qaeda?

feelfree1,

Here is a place to start your research, Muqtada Al-Sadr. Since you are so resourceful or is it that you know everything? I can't tell. Anyway check this man's support system as well as his close ties. You will find this to be more than sufficient, but there are some who still insist the world is flat

You have no authority to speak for the 'U.S.'. Almost nobody, anywhere 'believes' this silly claim. A shaped-charge projectile can be made almost anywhere.

In response to an article which suggests Explosively Formed Projectiles ( EFPs) are Iranian technology. I have few doubts feelfree1 will be looking for evidence on the internet. Tell us what you have found so far. Nothing? Surely hard proof must be on one of these websites. You bash the United States, you bash soldiers, you call everything you do not agree with lies. I have a suggestion which may improve your quality of life, simply move to Iran.

We've already murdered more civilians in Iraq than Saddam did under his entire rule. Its way past time to bring our troops home and help Iraq get back on its feet by staying out of its way.

Its time to end this "long war" that has been carried out against Iraq, warm and cold, since the first Gulf War.

Lift the sanctions, bring the troops home and stop trying to get the Iraqis to sign over their wealth to Big Oil.

I'm telling you, we need to train and arm our 12 to 20 million illegal immigrants and send them to Iraq. After they have pacified Iraq, they can have amnesty...or Iraq, if they like oil money.

Same picture is on the new report of 26 more killed in blasts. Can't comment on that story or the one about the U.K's new terror chief saying the fight on terror is going to be at least 15 years.

Saying that these attacks are to be expected does not make the "surge" a success. It is another excuse. While, it is true, they are to be expected, they are to be expected with any tactic the military uses and should be expected for as long as the military is occupying Iraq. The longer the people of Iraq are denied any semblance of order, the more they will back the insurgents. Why can we not see that? Are we so enamored with Maliki and his ability to deliver the ideology of Bush or the greed of Cheney that we continue to put our young men and women in jeopardy, that we continue to diminish our reputation with the rest of the world and that we continue to immerse our country in unbelievable debt.
