- the real "cons" that OUR troops are fighting for have Israel's best interest in mind not the US.. here's a partial list of the Zionist power elite that call the shots:

Paul Wolfowitz - Deputy Defense Secretary, dethroned World Bank head and member of Perle's Defense Policy Board, in the Pentagon. Chief architect of the Iraq war.

I. Lewis %u201CScooter%u201D Libby - Vice President Dikk Cheney's Chief of Staff. The chief pro-Israel Jewish advisor to Cheney.
Elliott Abrams - National Security Council Advisor. He was one of the more hawkish pro-Israel Jews in the Reagan Administration's State Department.
Robert Zoellick - our new World Bank leader - U.S. Trade Representative, a cabinet-level position. He is also one of the more hawkish pro-Israel Zionists in the Bush (Jr) Administration who advocated invading Iraq.

- Splash! Splash! Splash! We all know what those sounds mean. Finally ALL our representatives are starting to hear us. Now, put one of them cool coats with the arms in back on George and lead him into obscurity.

- The more a Con tells us all that the fight in Iraq is a fight between good and evil and that our nation's security hangs in the balance, the more likely that Con hasn't bothered to join up to fight.

- The United States is fast becoming that nation who can no longer be called "Great." Our military is no longer considered awesome except where we can blanket bomb. The rest of the world no long respects or trusts us. It is marvelous to have ideology and faith, but just look at where a president who continues to think that that is all it takes has gotten us. True, he has devoted his presidency to war for his ideology and that is what his legacy will be, an ill conceived and ill begotten senseless war that has killed more civilians than the dictator he overthrew. What we really need is a thinking, roll up your sleeves, get the job done president who can get the United States back on track.

- As the latest GOP congressmen lose patience with Bush and his lame excuses for Iraq, we see a massive credibility gap opening between Bush and the whole congress-- not to mention between Bush and the American people.
Yet we can only imagine what dissension swirls in GOP ranks-- and how many others in the party have lost faith in Bush, as well, but wait for the right moment as 2008 approaches.
Clearly, Bush is out of bullets and stalling for time-- but how many additional lives will that cost us? And for what? To preserve the same Bush delusions which led him into Iraq, in the first place?
From now on, it will be one faction against the other in the GOP-- between those who can put their country's interest first (and recognize a failed policy when they see one), and those who insist on catching that last flight out of Baghdad with Bush, to crash and burn with the rest of his regime. - Reply to this comment
