- radio,,, I must have missed it bro. Which office is she taking tomorrow ???
That's a 1 in 5 chance of it working,, That's just the Surge around Baghdad I belive & it's slowing down, & Iraq army is still far from manned or trained to support the mission.... The rest of Iraq is a mess as well. - Reply to this comment

How many Quassam rockets have been fired into Israel in the last two years? In one day there was over 310 rockets fired into Israel. - Reply to this comment
- radiob--I believe it was either Kurt Nimmo or Mr. Whitney in an article at Information Clearing House, who pointed out that Hamas had not undertaken a suicide bombing against Israel since coming to power and had adhered to a unilateral cease fire for months despite the Israelis continued targeted assassinations and provocations--such as the murder of the young family at the beach in Gaza with artillery fire.
Israel has not responded with restraint, only provocation. It may seem bizarre to you, but the leadership does desire a 'greater Israel' and peace does not lead down the road to an Israel stretching from the Nile to Mesopotamia....it doesn't even lead to the keeping of their ill-gotten gains on the West Bank. - Reply to this comment

I do believe that you miss the point which is that none of what you are saying is bringing the war closer to a end.Tommorrow hypothetically Pelosi takes office, she still has to contend with the two thesis, a one in five chance of the "plan" working and if we leave the region becoming more volatile. If we stay we lose, if we leave we lose there has to be a plan to minimize those thesis. - Reply to this comment

Not blaming Bush for the real damage Bush did as governor of Texas & jailing him, cost Amreica our National Security & Honor... Not to mention deaths of hundreds of thousands throughout the Middle East & North Africa. - Reply to this comment

Point is five years have gone by, prior to the invasion of Iraq where were the voices of objection beyond a minority.Where was the press, the congress , the people asking for a further investigation into the alleged claims prior to invading Iraq? They were virtually nill, non existent for the majority. The newly elected congress who were elected on the premise of ending the war instead increase funding after grandstanding. All of those who did not voice objection before share some of the responsibilty for the war.Constantly bashing Bush does not resolve the conflict. It does not bring the war to closer to a end.I have never been a supporter of invading Iraq and I have never been a supporter of Bush.Bickering over who is to blame is not going to resolve the matter. - Reply to this comment

- bush says torture no big deal.
in the confederate south, torture of yankee prisoners of war was common.
murder of yankee p.o.w.'s was common.
in andersonville, georgia rebel confederate prisoner of war camp
that rebel scum murdered more than 13,000 yankee p.o.w.'s.
13,000 fine, young, defenseless yankee p.o.w.'s
murdered, tortured to death, hung, starved to death, allowed to die of disease.
yep, those southerners love that torture.

- radiob--If the Israelis did hit Gaza again, it would only increase the rising international distaste for them. The public relations war is really beginning to go badly and another foray like the one against Lebanon will do them no good.
It was probably international consternation that finally got them to open the borders to the little bit the CBS article mentions.
It was the Americans who insisted that the Israelis continue the war in Lebanon and NOT engage in peace talks with the Syrians, both moves that would have helps Israellis and Arabs alike were, apparently, unwelcome by the Zionist leadership and their backers in New York/ Washington. - Reply to this comment

You truly do not see Israel restraint in this matter, I can give you link after link where they have restrained themselves. It is not in American intrest for Israel not to restrain itself. Israel is attacked daily with funds, weapons, training coming from all over the world but primarily from the middle eastern nations and does not retaliate to those nations. - Reply to this comment

- Yes AJMarine I agree, I started to post a reply to Grazinggoat and the board went blank. I did not attempt to post anything controversial. There are to many on here that attack instead of converse and explore the possible methods for ending this conflict. It is about 5 years to late to constantly be casting blame without looking in the mirror on this.
