- Wasn't Al-Sadr in Iran? How did he get across the border? Or is it that we don't have control of the border region?
If that's the case, then why not? Surely, securing the borders would have been one of our priorities?
Using Iraqi soldiers would be pointless - religious affiliations and corruption would win out over security of the border any day.
I guess this explains why so many insurgents are able to slip across the border from Iran and Syria.
I am tired of the lies being told by the Bush admin.
I am sick and tired of our soldiers dying because of the lies being told by the Bush admin.
And I am even more tired of our soldiers dying because the Bush admin chooses to leave them in the middle of a civil war. - Reply to this comment
- If Al-Sadr was in Iran as the US says, he must have returned for this event. I guess Dumbya is no better at gaining control of a border in the Middle-East than he is at controlling entry along a border in the southwestern United States.
If the weapons and explosives being sent into Iraq are as big a problem as the white house has said, why haven't the borders been controlled? We could move all our military to close the borders and let the Iraqis resolve their issues among themselves, without our forces being caught in the middle of their negotiations, or cross-fire. - Reply to this comment
- Iraq, let them have it.
Afghanistan, let them have it.
Lebanon, let them have it.
Pakistan, let them have it.
We should not take on one billion Muslims.
Let them have their part of the world.
Think about this.
If we win, what do we win?
If we lose, what do we lose?
Think about it.
Is it worth more American lives and the lives of innocent Iraqi women and children?
Is it worth a trillion dollars?
Do you know how much a trillion dollars is?
Are we creating more terrorists and alienating most of the world?
Think about it. - Reply to this comment

- Another Bush failure. Just like Osama, Bush left him walk around. He was a murder before we got there.

- I don't understand how this guy can be out in public like this.
He has threatened our troops.
He has urged others to attack our troops.
He is a threat to the lives of our troops.
How can he be out in public like that?
Arrest him for threatening our troops.
If someone says to destroy us then I believe we should take them seriously.
Arrest him and if he resists do whatever is needed to put him where he can harm no one. - Reply to this comment
- it seems like Muqtada al-Sadr is disappointed on how the DNC blundered the demand for a timeline.
