Fine fine fine, my biggest fear is that you people win your arguement, and we pull out of Iraq completely. The the terrorist will be free to overthrow the gov. Then they will torture and murder every man woman and child who does not convert to their form of Islam. They will go into the schools with their GD version of Mickey Mouse and teach little children to hate and kill christians. They will train thousands of suicide bombers from the day they are born. Then after a few hundred thousand deaths from terrist attacks you may reconsider your stance. Then me and my children will have to go back and do this all over again. Stop ******** about it. You people are like a kids that dont want to clean their room because its hot outside. People die in war. But this has been the most publisized war in history, that is the only reason why the opposition to the war efforts are so strong. What are the casualties. The civil war rose over 600,000. Was that not worth it?

bm6005,

Oh come on you hypocrite. Let's not fail to mention your poster boy Bill Clinton. He friggin ran away from the country to avoid the draft. And John Kerry, he put in for 5 deferments to try to get out of going to Vietnam, but his problem was , the deferments were all to attend college in Paris, France!

If you're gonna accuse anyone, better accues them all.

And Hillary never served.
And Chelsea never served.
And Monica never served (oops, pardon me, she DID service Bill, my mistake)

I hope that 'anti-war' critic demonizes his own son now. Bet he's laughing all the way to the bank with the publicity he's getting from his son's death. He's hoping to make millions off interviews, book deals, and probably a made-for-television movie out of it.

He doesn't give a *** about his dead son. He's gonna be the male version of Cindy Sheehan, you watch.

Bush fabricated there were WMD in Iraq. We had no reason to believe they existed. He acted on those fabrications. He was wrong for that, but with the best intentions.

Hiclay2000

Wait wait wait wait....

You said Bush fabricated the evidence then acted on his own lies, but he did it (invaded Iraq on the lies he fabricated) with the best intentions.
So.... Let me try to wrap my mind around this. It's OK to create false evidence, blatant lies about WMD, then use those lies you created to invade a country that had NOTHING to do with Bin Laden and 9/11 (except in the lies you fabricated), if you lie with the best intentions?

Anyone else see the problem with this?

None of us here are against the WOT. We just want to redirect efforts to the real enemy. Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9/11! Get that thru your thick skulls Bushies. Our attack on Iraq has done NOTHING good to our efforts against terrorists. The incompetents in this admin have dramatically failed!!

"ourtomorrows, Bush isn't Churchill and it's not "just like World War II". They say that those who forget history are condemned to repeat it, well those who get history wrong are condemned to get us stuck in foolish wars.Posted by shingles1 at 01:33 AM : May 17, 2007"

"ourtomorrows, etc. Whereas you disagree with others for denouncing our President, you are mistaken, unless you disagree with another Republican President. Theodore Roosevelt stated it is the patriotic duty of every American to question the choices of the President. Posted by IdlePugilist at 11:31 PM : May 16, 2007"

Thank you to Shingles1 and IdlePugilist for your responses to my post. As a point of clarification Shingles1, I did not in my post compare the President to Churchill or the current Iraqui situation to World War II. I was simply making the statement that many, like Chamberlain was, are blind to what some of us believe is a real, pervasive threat. I would agree with you IdlePugilist that it is every American's responsibility to challenge the ideas and policies of our elected officials and speak out about them, but I don't think that means inherently calling the President deragotory names or threatening his life. If you do not respect the man fine, but there should be basic respect for the office.

Must we be so stupid and senile to believe in a war without dead?
What have you now?
Pain and angry and you will die alone!
I am angry too. America is losing its youth.
Killing them in the name of defending our country aggression by enemies that are living here.
However, we go to Iraq or Afghanistan to kill them. 20.000 kilometer from America.
What a poor patriotism!
