About 6 weeks later Muhammad led his army and attacked the Jews while they were on their way to work on their date palms. Khaibar was a settlement defended by a number of forts spread apart from each other. One by one Muhammad's army took the forts. Finally, the last few surrendered to him. Then when Kinana was near death, Muhammad commanded that he be beheaded. Many of the women and children were enslaved. Muhammad even took the most beautiful woman for himself and married her (Safiyah).

Immediately following the conquest of Khaibar, a Jewish woman prepared a dinner for Muhammad and some of his men. Unknown to the Muslims was that she had put a poison into the lamb (some say goat) that was served at dinner. Muhammad ate some of the poisoned lamb and died as a result three years later.

LONDON (Reuters) - A U.S. troop pullout from Iraq would leave the country as a potent launchpad for international terrorism and Washington would be forced to go back in within a couple of years, a leading al Qaeda expert said on Tuesday.

Rohan Gunaratna told a security conference at Lloyd's of London insurance market that Iraq, like Afghanistan in the 1990s, would become a "terrorist Disneyland" where al Qaeda could build up its strength unchallenged.

If U.S., British and other coalition troops withdrew from Iraq in the next year, he said, "certainly the scale of attacks that would be mounted inside Iraq, and using Iraq as a launching pad to strike other Western countries -- countries in Europe, North America - would become such that after two or three years, the U.S. forces will have to go back to Iraq."

The Singapore-based academic and writer said the epicenter of international terrorism had already switched from Afghanistan to Iraq. "In many ways, the terrorist threat has now shifted 1,500 miles closer to Europe."

This same Grand mufti used his influence to raise Two Muslim SS Divisions in Yugoslavia (Kosovo) and Albaina. These divisions were responsible for the murder of almost 1 Million jews, Serbs and Gypsies.

Anyone who uses terms like "fascist nazi Islamic" is demonstrating a lack of knowledge or concern for historic accuracy or world events. Why not toss in communist, confederate, and sandinista while you're at it? Rabid fanaticism doesn't acheive anything, and does compound the problem. We get your point: you don't know what you're talking about, you don't like them, and your opinion will never mean anything to anyone. If you're trying to say "totalitarian," maybe you should expand your vocabulary a bit so you'll have the proper words at your disposal. Thanks for contributing.

Good deal, about time.

It's a simple fact that we've been their enemy too long, they're too paranoid about our intentions. No matter what we do, it'll be slanted negatively - we'd do the same if they were occupying us. But set a muslim force there, and they'll be more comfortable, and take from them what they'd never take from us.

Just think about it - we're occupied, soldiers standing on your block, running road checkpoints. How quick will you be to believe a nasty rumor about them if they are from Afghanistan? How quick will you be to believe the exact same rumor if they are from England?

A muslim UN force would be a very good thing for us.
