Allow me to clarify this for CBS News. The main goal of the Iraqi resistance has always been to kick the brutal and illegal U.S.-led invading forces out of their country. Obviously, anyone and everyone has the right to defend themselves from foreign invaders.
As far as the destroyed bridges go, having failed to place a U.S.-puppet strongman into power in Iraq, such as Allawi or Challabi, and with no chance of anything resembling a military victory there, the main goal of the Bush regime appears to be to divide and conquer the Iraqi people, to kill all Iraqi intellectuals, and to leave the country in chaos so that it does not have the ability to threaten Israel. The destroyed bridges, along with the U.S. constructed prison wall thru Baghdad, are most likely elements of this plan.
It is time to demand and end to the disgraceful and horrific U.S. invasion of Iraq.

- Iceman, we are already paying the hidden tax of inflation caused by the incessant whir of Bush's printing press as it prints ever more greenbacks to fund this disaster. A war tax would be much preferred as the money would actually go to pay for the war.
