Car Bomb Tears Through Market; Country's Top Sunni Threatens Government Pull-Out
- Gates is calling up 35K more troops for the fall, so I guess we know what the Republican plan B is---more of the same, at least until Bush is out of office and more of them are NOT reelected. Get ready to spend even more money if Congress does not develop the ballz to pull the funding for the troops or to pull Bush's authorization for this war.

- Whereas the left always supports a culture of death. Posted by mudrose at 12:50 PM : May 08, 2007
Oh I don't know...with this Iraq war, the authorization to torture, rendition, the need to keep it going no matter what, and with their beady little eyes now on Iran--I think the most of the WORLD, and many parts of this country think that Republicans support a culture of mayhem, FUBAR and death even more. - Reply to this comment
- Wouldn't killing 5.1 BILLION people (the number of non muslims in the world) be the very definition of barbarism???
Or is it fascist nazi islam%u2019s way of solving global warming???
Switching Sides: Inside The Enemy Camp
But then in 2000, well before his arrest, something happened which would make Abas question everything he believed in: a fatwa, a religious edict, was issued by Osama bin Laden.
"It should be understood that killing Americans and Jews anywhere found are the highest act of worship and the highest form of good deeds in the eyes of Allah," Simon quotes bin Laden.
Abas and his fellow commanders were ordered to read the fatwa to their men and make sure they carried it out. The others obeyed, but Abas refused. It was his moment of truth. He firmly believed that jihad was to be fought only on the battlefield in defense of Islam; he had always been taught that the killing of civilians had nothing to do with holy war and that it was forbidden.
The fatwa justified killing non-Muslim civilians everywhere.

How the Bush Administration Changes a Light Bulb
How many members of the Bush administration does it take to change a light bulb?
1. One to deny that a light bulb needs to be changed;
2. One to attack the patriotism of anyone who says the light bulb needs to be changed;
3. One to blame Clinton for burning out the light bulb;
4. One to arrange the invasion of a country rumored to have a secret stockpile of light bulbs;
5. One to give a billion dollar no-bid contract to Halliburton for the new light bulb;
6. One to arrange a photograph of Bush, dressed as a janitor, standing on a step ladder under the banner: Light Bulb Change Accomplished;
7. One administration insider to resign and write a book documenting in detail how Bush was literally in the dark;
8. One to viciously smear #7;
9. One surrogate to campaign on TV and at rallies on how George Bush has had a strong light-bulb-changing policy all along;
10. And finally one to confuse Americans about the difference between *** a light bulb and *** the country.- Reply to this comment
- Your arguement is fallacious because there is equal, that is each party is equally guilty, of tarnishing their office and disgracing the American Nation before all!
Again, you can not simply blame one side without pointing to the other!

I agree with your last sentence. However the Schiavo case is one great big tragedy and if you will allow me, they did not want to see a woman put to death because after 15 years her sob of a husband who had been living with a woman for 8 years and had two children with her decided that it was Terri's wish now not to live this way. 15 years with no therapy, nothing. I belive the Congress came down on the side of life? Whereas the left always supports a culture of death. Newty was not the President of the United States. He does not represent this country as Pelosi thinks she does. You are comparing apples and oranges here. However, they all stink and I would agree that they are all a disgrace since they make a mockery of just about everything but their neat and tidy little azzes. - Reply to this comment

"the entire Congress voted for military action in Iraq" not true
******************************************
At least 180 members of the HOuse did NOT vote for war and to a lesser extent, some in the Senate voted NO to war.
"mudrose:, Clinton lied to them, not Georgie. bush has been caught in numerous lies--"
Bush lied when he stated that he was not wiretapping, that there was no rendition, that no one had told him about the N. O levees, that yellowcake was true, that Saddam was connected to 9/11 and Al Qaeda (he had NIEs and CIA reports that refuted this but continued to lie about the connection for YEARS)
Mudrose: "Abortion is murder, plain and simple."
wrong again - it's a constitutional right - It may be a constitutional right, but it is a right that did not exist until the Supreme Court created it. ***********************************
Whether it was a right or not, it has been practiced for thousands of years--and even if outlawed--will continue to be practiced. When women do not want their own seed )and that of a man) to bear fruit--they destroy it.
mudroseThe State could care less who and when you marry - their interest is in the children. But anyone with a brain capable of abstracting would know that, now wouldn't they?
It is not about children only or else those gayy couples with Children would be allowed to marry. it has to do with societal promotion of the ideal family unit.
Elucidation that you desperately needed mudrose. - Reply to this comment
- Gates has ordered that 35,000 more troops be deployed this fall. (and of course, they will need auxillary units to assist them) funny isn't it? Exactly the number Guiliani said we needed--and with Republicans saying if the surge doesn't work by the fall--we will need a plan B (Really plan N or M by now). Looks like "Plan B" is MORE of the same. Funny how the "surge" required Congressional comment--but this new and improved increase of 35 thousand is just based on a whim of the military and Bush. That would be 10 more brigades folks with the requisite increase in funding demanded to support them. This will never stop while Bush is in office--unless the people in Congress pull the plug. Bush just keeps upping the ante.
BTW, if CBS is so late breaking, why are they always 12 hours to 24 hours behind Roadrunner news page and others? - Reply to this comment

He had them under Clintoid who bold facely lied to them and they ate it up like peanut butter, but Bush lied. Give me a break.

Since receiving an authorisation from Congress in 2002 to use all necessary means to disarm Iraq. . . true.
"But when things don't go well, you and the rest of the dumnos claim hindsight."
no, it's called truth - we were lied to - nah, Clinton lied to them, not Georgie.

"Marriage is about children not lovers."
Again wrong, it is contract first between 2 persons providing security and mutual benefits
Well, that's because you think the state's interest is in lovers. The State could care less who and when you marry - their interest is in the children. But anyone with a brain capable of abstracting would know that, now wouldn't they?

The Bush Stamp
The Postal Service created a stamp with a picture of President Bush. The stamp was not sticking to envelopes. This enraged the President, who demanded a full investigation.
After a month of testing, a special Presidential commission presented the following findings:
1) The stamp is in perfect order.
2) There is nothing wrong with the applied adhesive.
3) People are spitting on the wrong side- Reply to this comment

- Marraige is a religious institution, and the constitution restricts the government from passing laws affecting such things, so 1-you are wrong, marraige in no contract for security or benefits, 2-marraige is the union of 2 becoming 1, and the governments licence requirements are unconstitutional.
Marriage is not a religious institution. If it was soley that, the states wouldn't be putting DOMA's in place to protect it. Marriage is not about lovers, the State doesn't care who you marry -- and would have no right to intervene if there were not children involved. Marriage is about children. And h/o/m/o/s don't have any right to marry. Why not even heteros do. Marriage is a privilege. It is not a right. Dumnos always denigrating our institutions. - Reply to this comment
Three Brazilian Soldiers
Donald Rumsfeld is giving the president his daily briefing. He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed."
"OH NO!" the President exclaims. "That's terrible!"
His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the President sits, head in hands.
Finally, the President looks up and asks, "How many is a brazillion?"- Reply to this comment

Ignored by the US media so it won't really matter.
Who cares what Iraq does? Itaq is a sovereign nation responsible for its own security & economy.
US forces have no reason to be in Iraq being bomb detectors & playing policemen for the Iraqi people. - Reply to this comment
