I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?- Reply to this comment

Leviticus 25:44 states that I may possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can't I own Canadians?- Reply to this comment

Isn't that exactly what Condi has been doing?
Maybe we should think of a name for her?

- Cain's wife is mentioned, and it doesn't say it's his sister. There are 2 creation stories in Genesis, the first one makes no mention of Adam, the first Jew, so to speak. When Cain is sent out with a mark to protect him, it's from non-Jews, like his wife would've been.
Hey rick, how many jewish women are in the old testament? - Reply to this comment
- lol... here we go, you're about to say "Jesus was a conservative"...

- Finally you said something of common sens... Can everyone see what those religious nuts are reserving for us. The real fight will be between the free people and the nut-minded religious such as SickRick... - Reply to this comment
- the 'wow' is how far this stuff goes over your head.
'calling someone "stupid" for saying God is love'; you're hallucinating. you're stupid for saying something you know is inappropriate. you're also a liar, saying you believe in the Bible literally. you believe in whatever you can pick a fight with. you believe what your herd mentality has put into your head. Jesus said the old testament was fulfilled, but you're still pushing myths on people.
If someone was trying to see how christianity might work for them, your ugliness would scare them off. - Reply to this comment
- huanaco, good point. A major neocon strategy is to deny free speech, shout down debate with bizarre personal attacks, and the ever lovely straw man fantasy "lib" to hate hate hate.
I'm also a non-fan of their attacking education and the educated. You can see a connection, since we're getting pages & pages of tantrums that I can only conclude are part of some potty training frustrations.... - Reply to this comment

rick rick rick, you couldnt stop yourself from saying something stupid. Your problem here is the same problem they're dealing with in Iraq, Afganistan, Pakistan & everyplace-else-istan, the self-centered demand that everybody should think the same way & have the same religion as I-me-mine, or suffer allah-yahweh-god's wrath.
the god of Moses was a god of war, and his misery continues to be spread. step away from the old testament, Jesus did... - Reply to this comment

- JESUS was an ISLAMIC RADICAL who gave his life for a cause just like these ISALMIC RADICAL SUICIDE BOMBERS in Iraq.
Radical Islam is nothing but an extreme form of Conservative Christianty. Both Christians and Muslims believe in Human Rights violation and hate freedom and democracy.
According to Radical Chritian belief, when Jesus'll return back, all the democratically elected governments elected by the people of those countries will be collapsed and the whole world be living under the dictatorship of a dictator named GOD who'll snatch the freedom of the people to go to Strip clubs, party and have fun and enjoyment in their lives away from them just like the RADICAL ISLAMIC TALIBANS. - Reply to this comment

Iraq war hampers tornado recovery
Mon May 7, 7:18 PM ET
OVERLAND PARK, Kansas (Reuters) - A shortage of trucks, helicopters and other equipment -- all sent to the war in Iraq -- has hampered recovery in a U.S. town obliterated by a tornado, Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius said on Monday.
"There is no doubt at all that this will slow down and hamper the recovery," Sebelius, a Democrat, told Reuters in Kansas where officials said the statewide death toll had risen to 12 on Monday.
"Not having this equipment in place all over the state is a huge handicap," Sebelius said. - Reply to this comment

- This isn't exactly the Iraq that
George Double-Gum Bush envisioned a few years ago:
"The international Red Cross will scale up its operations in Iraq to provide food, water and medical treatment for hundreds of thousands of people struggling to survive amid the security situation in the country, the organization said Monday." - Reply to this comment
