RandalDS says:

No one nation could have defeated Germany and Japan on it's own. We all had to join together the fight them and barely won it that!

BTW, I'm 50 and a Vietnam vet, so I to know a bit about war. Try again smart as*s.

--------

OOOhhh...a Vietnam vet!! That makes all the difference in the world. YOU are now an expert on all world wars. Gimme a break.

First of all idiot, I was addressing the EU freak not understanding who we are. Second, I don't expect the secular, self indulged EU to understand anything but themselves. Next, the UNITED STATES made the winning difference in both theaters of WWII....period-dot Without OUR dedication to freedom FOR ALL, the outcome would have been much different.

If YOU feel guilty about your service, that's your problem....get over it.

And, by the way, how can you be 50 years ago and vet of the Vietnam war...that math don't work.

Try again.

And the majority of our allies who died in action were Russian SOLDIERS, no civilians.

That should read "not civilians" instead of "no civilians". Da*mn typos.

The majority of our so called allies KIA were civilians in the European theater. It was a tragady, none the less.

And the majority of our allies who died in action were Russian SOLDIERS, no civilians. Many civilians died, but more Russian TROOPS were killed then American ones by far. Also many o our allies lost a higher Percentage of their soldiers then we did. Yes there were a lot of sacrifices on all sides, but that the point. We fought that war TOGETHER and we all saved each other. No ONE nation saved the world from the Nazis and the Japanese.

What the hell does age have to do with it? Anyone who has studied history knows that what I said is true. Also many of my older relatives were in WWII and they said the same thing. No one nation could have defeated Germany and Japan on it's own. We all had to join together the fight them and barely won it that! If anyone is telling you any different then they're a fu*cking liar.

BTW, I'm 50 and a Vietnam vet, so I to know a bit about war. Try again smart as*s.

None of the allies, including the USA, could have defeated the Nazis and the Japanese in WWII on their own. We all worked TOGEHTER to save the world. Morons like you would do well to remember that a lot more of our allies died in WWII fighting the Nazis and Japanese then did Americans.

This is a huge right wing myth. We did not "save Europe's as*s" in WWII. We joined in WITH them to defeat a common enemy. None of the allies, including the USA, could have defeated the Nazis and the Japanese in WWII on their own. We all worked TOGEHTER to save the world. Morons like you would do well to remember that a lot more of our allies died in WWII fighting the Nazis and Japanese then did Americans. The sacrifices and the courage on all of our parts is what won the war, not the mouthy arrogance that you in your ignorance of history is displaying. People who speak like you make WWII vets sick, so shut the hell up until you learn the truth child.

It is a good thing for the EU that we DON'T UNDERSTAND. Beacause you would all be talking German or Japanese right now.

You look in the face of disaster and think appeasement. Your total lack of recognition of evil is mind blowing.

As we speak, your continent will be overrun by Islamic fundementalist, and by the end of the century Europeans will be the minority. Do the math. You are reproducing at an unsustainable rate, while Islam is overtaking your population. YOU will be nonexistant within 100 years.

But that is NO surprise, you've done it before...and it appears you don't care...as per your statement...thinking that you can "hug" your way to the future.

As usual, when you need America, we will be there to bail your sorry a**es out....ONE MORE TIME.

The deadliest attack against U.S. forces occurred in Diyala, where six U.S. soldiers and a European journalist were killed when a massive bomb destroyed their vehicle, the U.S. military said.

Two other American soldiers died Sunday in separate bombings in Baghdad.

The military Sunday also reported three other deaths: two Marines in a blast Sunday in Anbar province and a soldier who died Sunday in a non-combat incident in northern Iraq.

Okay...6 in Diyala, 2 in Anbar, 2 in Bagdhad and 1 in noncombat...am I the only one that thinks this adds up to 11 and not 8? Even if we take the noncombat death out--that at least 10 soldiers died in combat today!!!!

*** that new fvcking math--Bush may love it--since it can keep the dead numbers down--but it really sucks a big weenie.

Like most europeans, i simply don4t understand why this war began in the first place, nor why it continues today! What are so many plain, simple US servicemen making the ultimate sacrifice for? What has the US to gain from this war? Isn4t clear that there is no military solution?? Why does the US demonstrate so little understanding (and concern) of the nature and complexities of different nations? Bush is a disaster, however, the majority of Americans voted for him. The US got what it deserves - but the soldiers that die needlessly (and their families) deserve a lot better!! What a tragedy for the soldiers and Iraqi men, women and, especially, children being slaughtered!
