, Sunni Iraqi's are fighting al Quida in Iraq & they are capable of doing the job without Iraq's military or police involvement (as if there is much of thier involvement at all)..
Iraqi Sunni's will return to attacking our troops at thier 1st oppertunity.

It is sad when people are categorically condemned because they are republican or democrat. Who are these republicans and democrats? They are your next door neighbors, teachers, policemen, doctors, etc. Perhaps they are your parents, aunts and uncles, or grandparents. In many families, some members are republican and some are democrats. Are they the satans, Nazis, and brain-dead morons that some of you claim. No, they are people with different philosophies and ideas. Does this make each of them evil? The ones to worry about are the extremists on either side who would join terrorist groups, blow-up people and buildings, and work to destroy our way of life. How can anyone accuse others of being Nazis, communists, morons, or agents of Satan not knowing anything about them other than a few lines in forums like this?

It doesn't surprise me - the Bush family have been inbreeding for years.

Just look at the monkey they produced - and the Gorilla that gave birth to him.

FeelFree1,,, Serious annalysis is pretty hard to find unless you believe in the National Intellegence Estiment, which Bush always tries to discrredit... I fortunatly have the time to follow CSPAN and committe's & try to listen to our generals --
- Terrorism has grown, & Iraq is now much of the problem & even more of a quandry... Petreaus doesn't even place much value in this surge.

Founder of the Conservative Movemnt, William F. Buckley says - the GOP won't survive the Iraq War - But they will survive... Hopefully as the old Eisenhowrer party - When the GOP had honor.

I think it might be an end of these Bush supporters who are nothing but the result of the Bush family Eugenics programs (Creating The Master Race) Prescot Bush brought back from Germany.

j-whitman,

Have you ever seen any serious analysis of the many Iraqi resistance groups, which places the number of "foreign fighters" at beyond a few thousand people?

www.csis.org/index.php?option=com_csis_pubs&task=view&id=1442

Could 3,000 well heavily armed Canadians come to the U.S., start blowing up the place, without beeing wiped out by the most sophisticated and powerful conventional military of all time, for 4 years?

As far as I can tell, we have always been fighting and harming Iraqis, not "al-Qaeda". The Iraqis have a lot more right to defend themselves from this horrific misadventure, than we do for being there at all, do they not?

I think that when people accept "al-Qaeda-in-Iraq", lacking any real evidence of its existence, this plays nicely in the favor of the Bush regime. It gives them a good reason to stay in Iraq. Get 'em "over there", ya' know.

War is EASY!

You can have a War and give the very wealthy huge tax cuts. The military industrial congressional complex is doing Great - War is good for business! America is not at War, America is at the Mall.

Only those middleclass troops are at War. About 0.2% of the American population. Only they and their families suffer. 3,300 Dead. Four miles of end to end flag-draped coffins (think about a four mile long stream of coffins rushing past you next time you are driving along the freeway).

So to Cheney and Bush, whats the big deal? Small price to pay for $21 TRILLION in Iraqi Oil. That's why they exploited 9-11 fears and LIED about WMDs to scare America into allowing them to Invade Iraq.

Impeach and JAIL the murderous thugs - Cheney and Bush have committed the highest of high crimes.

Singinrick,,,, I see - Pray for them, but cut thier funding.... Don't make much sense. Like substuting real troop support with ideaological prayers & a devine mystical Victory.
. The funding bill repubs want to pass next is much harder on Bush... It as the last one vetoed also has bipartisian support.

FeelFree1,,, Of course I believe we are fighting al Quida in Iraq & elswhere, what kind of a question was that ??? They followed us into Iraq remember ?????

Iraqi Sunni's are also fighting them, only because they have gone against them with sectarian attacks,,,,, They both have the same goals.... Getting American involvement out of Iraq, actually that's slightly wrong,,, al Quida wants us to stay there.

j-whitman,

I would invite any comments on what I have presented in my last few posts.

Do you think that we are fighting 'al-Qaeada-in-Iraq'?

I am glad to see that all of these %u2018terror%u2019 successes are culminating around the Veto promised by our Commander-in-Chimp. I am so happy for his good fortune.

Back in reality, however, there has never been any serious analysis of the various Iraqi resistance groups that has placed the number of "foreign fighters" at much more than a few thousand.

The fact is, the timing of 'al-Qaeda-in-Iraq' victories always seem to suit the regime quite nicely. The fact is, that each and every "success" over 'al-Qaeda-in-Iraq' has been immediately followed by an INCREASE in attacks.

In brief: it stretches the imagination to think that a few thousand "foreign fighters" have defeated the entire U.S. military in Iraq, to the point of near collapse, and it is remarkable to say the least, that this alleged group can immediately INCREASE and maintain their level of intensity, as 'top agent' after 'top agent' are supposedly neutralized.

This smells like Rendon Group.

Singinrick,,, How's the Air Force doing? ,,, They now have taken money from thier modernization, training & recruiting to cover the costs of thier missions...
Sorry for asking, but you should catch up with Military Times, In 2006 they reported 2/3rd's of our Troops don't support the Iraq War, or Bush .... I've got an on-line subscription/

Another fine suggestion from 'king77shaw'.

Many Liberal Democrats are too reactionary to see what might be going on here.

Note the following:

-Five alleged London 7/7 bombers were just sentenced to life in prison for their crimes.

-The alleged mastermind of the 7/7 attacks, yet another 'al Qaeda' #2, has just been apprehended while attempting to return to his HOME in IRAQ.

So you see? We are WINNING the "war on terror" in Iraq, just like they said that we would, proving that they were right all the time, "because we have ALWAYS been at war with 'al-Qaeda-in-Iraq'", just like they've always said. (?)

Conclusion:

While the Democrats continue their despicable effort to blame the illegal and calamitous Iraq war on its victims, the Republicans will yank the red cape, and shift the full blame the Democrats for surrendering in Iraq, and for blowing the "war on terror".

Just one possibility, but if this possibility should ever take shape, I predict that most Democrats would never see it coming.

I'm tired of terror - Posted by king77shaw

Given the undermined UN, this war on terror could actually turn out to be the beginning of WWIII.

Its not about terror so much as it is about how many muslims they can get to support the Caliphate. Under the Caliphate, all Islamic nations have to come under one central government, meaning that a revolution to overthrow some of the worst tyrants in the world will have to take place, and in thier place will be a multi headed beast, from which the anti christ will rise from.

cbville72,,
, "Is Guiliani worse because he is a republican" ????? --- I'm surprised you had to ask,, Actually he is worse because he is a republican.. Especially after the last 6 years of failure.

, After 6 years of flip-flopping on all value issues
, cross-dressing
, blind support of Bush (He called a genius & wanted elected for 8 years the 1st time)
, sending Bernie Kerick to train Iraqi police (Which didn't work out) -
--- He did ignore warnings placed NYC's Crises Response Center in the World Trade Center
Posted by j-whitman

You'all should ignore bigots. Bigots are people who condemn anyone and everyone who do not support thier way of thinking. Just because someone is a republican is not a reason to condemn them. Remember, Abraham Lincoln was a Republican, and over 600,000 men died to free the slaves from the southern states, for a republican administration. Left to thier vices, the Democrat party would have let slavery survive, twas the party that defended slavery in congress.
