"we are just emboldening our enemies in iraq, as long as we continue to stay there!!! bushs foriegn policy is only exacerbating terrorist world wide."

What neocons don't realize is (or don't want to realize), Iraq is nothing but a diversion. Al Queda sends a bunch of dumba$$ suicide bomber amateurs over to Iraq (which are not hard to find) to bloody Americans and suck billions out of our treasury. Meanwhile, the A-list terrorists are in countries like Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, planning the real attacks against America. Then, when we get hit agin (and we will, whether it be next year or ten years from now), everyone will be standing around wondering what the h3ll we were doing wasting our time in Iraq.

This simple terrorist strategy is apparently beynd our neocon armchair generals.

Was simply a statement that the people depicted in that story cannot possibly be representative of Christianity as a whole, because they obviously operate directly the opposite. Are you that blind for realz?

The purpose of Alexandria Pelosi's film was just that - to depict Christains as overzealots, fanics and comparable to our friends in the Middle East. It's a nice boost for Christain bashing. If that wasn't your intent, I apologize, I've just about had it with all the negativity against the right and these comparisons.

"Isn't that the film that Pelosi's daughter is critiquing? Seems that you all like to bash Christains. Well, society seems to be in good shape with the Hollywood values types -- violence, sloth and immorality. Not much in the value department or showing an ethical side. After all isn't that the montra you all profess, i.e., we can be moral and ethical without being religious? Well, check out Va. Tech."

Where the hell in my post did I ever bash Christians? Learn2read.

Isn't worshipping a false god one of the biggy sins as a "Christian?" Seems to me these folks aren't very Christian, and shouldn't be referred to as such.

"Jesus Camp is a documentary about the "Kids On Fire" summer camp, located just outside Devils Lake, North Dakota and run by Becky Fischer and her ministry, Kids in Ministry International. All three children, despite their youth, are very devout charismatic Christians
In November 2006, Fischer announced that she would be shutting down the camp indefinitely due to negative reaction to the film."

nothing good comes out of the south!

Hey, Gringo, you're right -- nothing good comes from the South -- south of the border, too. Best thing that happened to the Al Maliki government, Al Sadr's lackies left. Like Pelosi, Al Sadr was nothing more than a shadow leader. Seems to me you're more full of hate than those phoney Christain creeps.

Here it goes-- never one to delay a bloodbath when one is possible, al Sadr is all set to make civil war his gateway to the Iraq of the future. Compounding the idiocy, Bush clings desperately to the hope he will not have to leave his name as the last American to turn out the lights in Iraq.

Already, the exodus out of Iraq is reaching a floodtide. Interpreters for the US Army and Marines-- people who once admired the US-- are being told unofficially there is no easy path through the red tape to leave Iraq. They are told they must learn to fend for themselves, and look after their own families, because we cannot. This, typical Bush gratitude for putting their lives on the line for Americans.

We are reminded of another Bush indifferent to Iraqi suffering-- Bush, Sr. Having secured terms after Gulf War I, Bush1 left both the Shia in the South and the Kurds in the North to the percy of Saddam's helicopter gunships. The carnage and suffering was unimaginable. Men, women, children-- all butchered so horrednously even Bush's Secretary of State felt obliged to visit a Kurdish refugee camp, filled with freezing survivors, to show concern.

Someone on this blog one year ago insisted the Iraqis were confirmed on the road to "recovery" and really wanted Americans to stay and safeguard the reconstruction. It is a safe bet today no Iraq wants to be seen with an American-- and it is easy to see why.

wonder when CBS will stop regurgitating the Bush Propoganda slogans? No one believes that Iraq is part of the "War on Terror". Iraq is a literal "War OF Terror" caused by the deliberate LIES of Cheney/Bush.

I couldn't agree with you more, the media prior to the Iraq invasion was just regurgitating everything it was told by the administration to justify war without questioning any of it.

Everyone forgets that the media is like every other industry in this country, profit is the primary motivator not accurate or responsible reporting. Very nice post. Time to go to bed and do the 9 to 5 grind. Where's that winning lottery ticket when you need it? Take care and good night. Badaxmofo, he's doesn't seem like a bad guy but he sure is stubborn. Have a great week.
