lol! Hope so, though I must say (quite modestly) there is only one me. My wife would say "Thank God!" to that! lol.
On a much more serious note the death toll for our troops is up to ten now. More soldiers who have died for nothing. Wasted by Bush and his puppet-master Cheney just for money. The great great great grand children of Bush and Cheney will still be spending money stolen from the American taxpayers and still dripping with the blood of our troops. - Reply to this comment

He/she/it is a right winger pretending to be a liberal to try to make liberals look ridiculous. My gawd don't you even know when you're being scammed?
That said he/she/it is right about one thing. I have no doubt that there were nothing but big grins in Bush's and Cheney's office because bin Laden handed them the "Pearl Harbor style event" that the neoconservatives (PNAC) had been hoping for sense the late 1990's as an excuse to lies us into a war with Iraq. They'd been salivating over that idea since well before Bush took power. Don't believe it? Look up their website for yourself and read it. They're quite proud of the fact that they've been looking for an excuse to invade Iraq for a decade or more now. Read it yourself. - Reply to this comment

Saddam Hussein was one of the most reasonable even handed democraticly elected leaders Iraq had ever seen.
His generousity for his people is legendary in Iraq it was only after the Bush spin meisters got a hold of the story that the lies started.
He and his sons were certainly not the bloodthirsty mass murderers they were portrayed to be but were actually peackeepers that kept the centuries old civil war from ever breaking out.
When the waring tribes felt the love and spirit of peace that oozed from every pour of the hussein family all they could do was beat swordes into plowshares.

- I agree Randal "POWER TO THE PEOPLE" if the Legitimite President Al Gore would have been in Office we could have the environmental impact study on Afganistan nearly completed by now and could be preparing to peacefully negotiate with them in Lui of bombing.
Were a democracy not a representitive republic and If the Stupid People would have not have been fooled by Bush into starting a war in Iraq we wouldnt be in this stupid mess.
Im sure glad I have other enlightened minds like mine that can understand how the stupid president and the stupid soldiers are fighting the stupid war.
In 67 between dropping Acid and rioting some of us stopped another stupid war that that stupid John Kennedy got us into.
Some of our stupid citizens cant even understand that we deserved what happened on 911 and that if we would just do whatever were told we would not have to fight in these stupid conflicts.
Anyone can see that Bush is stupid and is just trying to make money for his stupid friends by inflating oil prices and Killing stupid American Kids.
Its to bad enlightened minds like ours cant seem to get elected by the stupid people of this country. - Reply to this comment
- BTW, two more of our soldiers died so the death toll for the day is now 6 of our troops. Two more who died for nothing. Wasted. Lives thrown away for the greed of Cheney and the stupidity of Bush.

- Reminds me of "was it General Sheridan who once said that the only good good man is a good good dead man.Was not me."
9-11 did have something to do with the invasion of Iraq but Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11.
The mentality of our leaders (white house and congress) and the general public as a whole inablitiy to ask the tough questions prior to invading Iraq or allowing the weapons inspectors to finish their job. The "euphoria", "hysteria"
that encapsulated the mindset of America from 9-11 is why we are there. The blind following the ____________________________________. - Reply to this comment

I think you should change you're name to Archie Bunker. He made no sense at all when talking politics either! Just "America right or wrong", right? My gawd how do you generate enough brain power to type? educate yourself! Don't just blindly follow the leader...off the cliff! What are you? A man or a lemming? Never, ever take government at it's word! They're operating in YOUR name. Make them prove everything the say or do! Hold their feet to the fire always! Never trust them completely! they're our employees, not our leaders! WE are their leaders! The people are their bosses! They work for US. Not the other way around! - Reply to this comment
- An
d before anyone says Iraq didn't have anything to do with 9/11;Iraq is part of the Middle East. The Middle East,as a region, except for Israel, has been waging this Terror War against the United States since 1979. Which gives the United States the right to wage war on the Middle East. Iraq is the crossroads of the Middle East. If you can control Iraq, you can control the Middle East.

This guy has not just gotten drunk on the kool aid of bullsh*it flowing out of the right wing, he's taking a bath in it! There is no possible justification for invading Iraq and 9-11 didn't give Bush one. Yes it's in the same region but by your logic we should have attacked China because the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor! What the hell, they were in the same region right? They're Asian too, right? What an ignorant idea! No wonder you support the moron Bush and his stupidity. Apparently he thought the only good Arab is a dead Arab too and that they all must be guilty. Of course it's a war for profit! Open your eyes and at least give seeing a chance! - Reply to this comment
- Your so right Rand Bush is a murderer and just wants to make money for his buds.
I know he was secretly smiling the day the twin towers fell knowing he would get to start a war over it and murder American kids.

This is not a war of choice. This is not a war of aggression. This is not a war for profit.
In case you forgot the United States was attacked and thousands of Americans were killed on 9/11. In case you didn't know the radical Muslims have been waging a Terror War against the United States since 1979:

Not just four, four more and Bush and Cheney murdered them just as surely as if they stood them against a wall and put a bullet in each of their heads. Between civilians deaths and our own they are approaching 100,000 human beings that they have murdered in Iraq. Every person who is killed in this civil war is more blood one their hands because they, in their stupidity, greed and incompetence, peeled open a centuries old wound and infected it. They are not the original cause of this dispute between the Shiites and Sunni, but they are the ones who restarted it and inflamed the wound. they did this for one reason and one reason alone, because war is very very profitable for their buddies in the war contracting business and big oil. That makes their murdering a capital offense because they're killing for money. - Reply to this comment
- I Agree with you Jerr If there were any justice in the world at all we would surrender to the Bush oppressed peoples of the middle east and beg for forgiveness.
If only Limbaugh and Fox news did not maintain the #1 rated talk and news channels then more people could hear our reasonable voices.
Maybe then grieving American families could learn how stupid their fallen children are for fighting in a war that we Enlightened Progressive Democrats can easily see is just a ploy by Bush Cheney and Haliburton to ruin the country.
Ms Pelosi's Mission of Peace had absolutely nothing to do with politics.
She as an enlightened Communist is much more adept at solving the worlds problems then the stupid leaders of these nations.
We can so clearly see that this has nothing to do with 911 or WMD'S because even though Hussein used nerve gas on the Kurds thats no guarentee that he actually had any.
I long for the day when i can Join hands with my Muslim brothers and sisters and run thru the fields of peace together.
I know that when they take innocent hostages and cut their heads off this is just a cultural difference and its actually a way of saying we wish to negotiate and we believe in peace.
Im so ashamed to live in a country where STUPID soldiers are conned into dieing for a cause that we the enlightened can see is Illegal Immoral and based on Oil. - Reply to this comment
- nynative1340,
Re: "Mostly because it's a culture most westerners just don't understand."
I suspect rather, that this transistion of blame to the Iraqi people, is because the "al Qaeda-in-Iraq" hoax is no longer very believable or useful.
Also, the shift of blame to the "barabric Iraqis" is a tempting target for the complicit Democrat leaders, who are also searching for a scapegoat, such as Mr. Levin has demonstrated in a related article.
Anyway. Enjoy the day, and thanks for the discussion. - Reply to this comment
- "From what I can gather, this "Sunni-Shiite schism" is way, WAY, overblown by the Western Corporate pess. Shiites regularly marry Sunnis, for example. Are we to believe that they secretly hope to kill their husbands/wives/in-laws? Absurd." Posted by feelfree1
It is overblown. Mostly because it's a culture most westerners just don't understand. And as far as I can determine, the intense hatred is only in Iraq, stirred by the west, I'm sure.
With that, I'm out of here for awhile. My better half is bugging me to go to her sister's for brunch. After that I have to prepare for by trip to DFW tomorrow.
