- I hope the participation in Baghadad meeting of Iran, US & Syria & others would be a stepping stone in bringing peace to Iraq. The process should continue even if there are differences among the participants. Agreeing to talk of the trio(US,Iraq & Iraq) by itself is a great move towards peace in the region.

- Scotty, not a war; just total annihlation would satisfy me. I do not like them. I will not like them. Begone with them. Were it my choice, I would pepper dot the whole damned region with several W70-3 warheads.

- I just hope that the US and Iran can get along and resolve this mater without going to war. THATS THE LAST THING WE NEED

- A conference? Killing a hundred people a day is wrong. What is there to discuss? How would our great world leaders like it if the old buzzards had a heart attack and the ambulance drivers and doctors said "Sorry, we can't help you until we have a study group, about 1,000 UN meetings, and a conference first."

- THE WEBSTERS DICTIONARY, DEFINES THE TERM, NAME,***, AS MEANING NICK NAME FOR RICHARD, ALSO FOR THE NICK NAME OF DETECTIVE. I AM STILL CONFUSED WHY CBS WOULD FIND IT NECESSARY TO CENSOR THIS NAME? THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE NAME ***. LETS SEE THERE ARE: *** CLARK, *** TRACEY, *** BUCKUS, MOBY ***, I EVEN HAVE SOME FAMILY MEMBERS NAMED ***.
IF THIS NAME *** IS NOT ALLOWED, WE SHOULD START A PETITION TO FORCE ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE WORLD, THAT USE THE NAME ***, TO CHANGE THEIR NAME. STARTING WITH OUR CURRENT VICE PRESIDENT, *** CHENEY. AND TO PREVENT A DOUBLE STANDARD, CBS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO USE THE NAME *** CHENEY ON THEIR WEB SITE. WHEN CBS CENSORS THE NEWS HEADLINES FOR USING THE NAME ***, I WILL REFRAIN FROM THE USE OF THIS WORD ALSO. - Reply to this comment
- And Dallison, people are allowed to be "religous
right". This is America and people can be whatever they like.
Just because you do not like the "right" does not
mean we can not be that way. thank you. - Reply to this comment

I am a republican but i just want things to get better, hopefully they will. - Reply to this comment
- No matter what else is said, 2 or more countries sitting down talking to each other is way better for their citizens than those same countries blowing each other up.

- U.S. go to the table and flat out B*itch slap em. Our way; or, no way. We have the tools to vaporize these middle eastern scum. For far too long they have been a hinderance to our well being. It is time.

- Dallyson;
I told you this was going to happen....there will be a thaw in the near future....There is no way we will go to war with them...two carrier battle groups don't mind war....that's just a reminder of our assets....as i said previously.........be concerned when 4 or more battle groups are there...if it gets to six...it's coming....but no other assets have been moved...so no real plans in the offing....generally in most administrations..diplomacy takes over...in the second four years...
there will be a thaw....so two out of the three axis of evil countries will be addresed via diplomacy - Reply to this comment
- Good.
Ahmadinejad really has very little power after the last elections in Iran. And in case you righties don't know: the majority of Iran's population is under 35 and very westernized. To start a war with Iran would be a colossal mistake.
Remember that diplomacy was practiced by every modern era president before this one. We'd better be praying to God that this works. - Reply to this comment

US Vice President *** Cheney. Now, instead of launching a war against Iran, Cheney with Bush%u2019s complicity, has pulled the trigger on a covert war of global proportions pitting Sunnis against Shias.
According to Hersh, Cheney%u2019s covert plan involves massive US financial backing for militant Sunni groups that are known to be inimical to the Shia militias of the Badr Brigades, the Mahdi Army, Hamas and Hezbollah all of whom support the revolutionary government of Iran. The US-backed Sunnis include the Muslim Brotherhood, a vast and powerful multinational organization, who are definitely on friendly terms with Al-Qaeda and its allies, including the Taliban. The government of Saudi Arabia is Sunni, although they are deeply despised by the Muslim Brotherhood, the Taliban and Al-Qaeda because of their subservience to their masters in big oil and George Bush%u2019s America.
The Israeli right and a rogue faction of the royal family of Saud who are loyal to Prince Bandar bin Sultan are backing Cheney%u2019s covert plan. The ultimate objective of Cheney%u2019s redirection of US strategy in the region is to redraw the national boundaries of the Middle East and to give an explosive multiple birth to a sprawling litter of new cantons, colonies, domains, enclaves, protectorates, statelets and territories all pledged to American and Israeli dominance of the region and its precious oil, gas and energy reserves. - Reply to this comment
