RandalDS you cannot just sit down and talk to them they lie to your face.

Posted by superchez1 at 01:32 PM : Mar 07, 2007

Oh and as for lying to our face, what do you think our gutless wonder of a leader has been doing to us for the last 6 years? Like him or hate him I'll take the Iranian presidents word over Bush's. So far he's not been proven to be any more of a lair then Bush, Cheney, etc. He'll probably lie to us, but we already KNOW Bush is.

RandalDS you cannot just sit down and talk to them they lie to your face. It's not a matter of talking to them, They will not be happy until the fall of Western Society to talk to them is a waste of time. These muslim nations need to be exterminated like a colony of roaches. The best way to do this is let them kill each other. Let's see how they like it when and if they establish nukes we give them to Isreal. Let Isreal take them out before they are blown up.
Posted by superchez1 at 01:32 PM : Mar 07, 2007

First of all, thanks to Bush, our army is stretched so thin that talking is the only option we have unless we resort to nukes, which would mean the unprecedented slaughter of millions of innocent people. Besides the main result of it would be the banding together of the entire world (minus Israel) against us and believe it or not and like it or not the US can NOT stand alone. Secondly Israel already has nuclear weapons. They were given to them by the US and the British. They are the real threat to peace in the Middle-East.

Oh and saying Muslims want to get rid of the western world is ridiculous and has no basis in truth or facts whatsoever. None.

What would be nice?????? If Iran goes there and says "we are ready for peace in the Middle East"..... Iran finanically supports Syria, Hammas, some agents in Iraq, and the opposition in Lebanon. It's taking a hard toll on the Iranian economy. The government there is about to increase the cost of fuel which won't make the Iranian people any happier... We need to continue our current approach with our allies in Europe, Russia, and China.
We need to step up the "economic" squeeze to get the Irians to stop exporting terror that they have been engaged in since 1979.
We need to then have a "comprehensive" solution to peace in the Middle East...... and if successful ....America should clear out of the area..... the Arabs are very passionate about one thing........ and that's being "Arabs".

Iraq governmet wants an Iran influence & not Sunni Arab..... What's Bush doing ???? Fighting for the Sunni (UAE) control..
. 9/11 & USS Cole attack where by Sunni's most from the UAE -- Sunni's cause 96% of our casualties.

Even though I`m a Democrat, I support the President`s plan to invade Iran. I support the U.S. allowing Isreal the use of an air-corridor to strike Iran. Iran is becoming too dangerous. The Bush doctrine gives us the theory we need to go along with regime-change. We should rally behind President Bush because nuclear proliferation must be stopped. The Iranians are no friends of ours. Why should we be passive in the face of mounting aggression from Islam? It's time to get pay-back for '79!

Lars,,,, Stop spinning Thomas Jefferson, his people actually supported Muslim rights, while your bigots where preaching hate against them --
- In fact, it was Jefferson's more bigotted opponents in the Virginia legislature who brought up the specter of Muslims and atheists being elected to it in the world Jefferson was trying to create. He was undeterred by such considerations, which should tell us something.

Enlightenment Americans knew about Islam and just did not care to divide up human beings by religion. George Washington asked in a March 24, 1784, letter to his aide Tench Tilghman that some craftsmen be hired for him: "If they are good workmen, they may be of Assia, [sic] Africa, or Europe. They may be Mahometans, [Muslims] Jews, or Christian of any Sect - or they may be Atheists ..."
John Locke had already advocated civil rights for non-Christians in his Letter on Toleration:

What Thomas Jefferson learned from the Muslim book of jihad

Thomas Jefferson knew about fascist nazi islam..... he killed plenty of them....

In 1786 Jefferson and John Adams went to negotiate with Tripoli's envoy to London, Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdrahaman or (Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja). They asked him by what right he extorted money and took slaves. Jefferson reported to Secretary of State John Jay, and to the Congress:

The ambassador answered us that [the right] was founded on the Laws of the Prophet (Mohammed), that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have answered their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Mussulman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to heaven.[1]

For all those bloodthirsty arm chair soldiers that yearn for conflict with Iran, take a good look at Iraq.

Millions of displaced citizens,

an economy that could be productive lies in ruins,

an endless drain on US resources in both men and money

a high tense diplomatic standoff that easily slip into larger regional conflict.

And if that happen, if the conflict in Iraq spread to Iran and then to Syria, what do you all think would be result?

Imagine Iraq 100 times worse. If any one of you think that is good for the US or Israel or any other country, guess again.

There is a reason that this meeting is taking place. It is because FINALLY reason is occuring in the Whitehouse. Rice is convinced that war with Iran is not a good idea and she bypassed Cheney to get to her good pal Dubya to talk some sense to him.

Be thankful.

fascist nazi islamic muslims global jihad....

Islamic worldview and the reason why it becomes a calamity in the 21st century

The Islamic world view of converting the entire human species to Islam at the pain of death is not something novel. It has existed for 1400 years since this cult of death and destruction was founded by Mohammed-ibn-abdallah, the nefarious bandit and murderer in the 7th century in Mecca. What makes this world view a calamity is the fact that Muslim have started acquiring WMD capability off late. While all these centuries, they could carry on with their murder and mayhem only with swords from the 7th century up to the 16th century. So they could be defeated by those who could wield swords better and more so by those who in addition to this managed to recognize the mortal threat to all non-Islamic civilizations that Muslims represented. There have not been very many on this planet who could see through the murderous message of the Quran, that the Muslims robotically believe is the message from some god, to be divinely followed by placing their swords on the necks of all their defeated victims and giving them the choice Islam or death.

The "government" that has been installed in Iraq is a farce! The people installed mercinaries and "carpet baggers" (look it up). Their selection is based on their acceptance of George Bush and *** Cheney as all powerful. The "government" has NO mandate from the Iragi people and will suffer the same fate as other puppet regimes.

Once we conceded that "we are not winning in Iraq", talking to Iran would not belittle our status. Ofcourse, it puts us on the right path to a negotiating table. We could have initiated it a long time ago. What we are going to discuss needs to be weighed diplomatically. We should avoid accusations in the first instance. I hope these talks could pave the way for a high level ministerial meeting of US-Iran-Syria.

Agreeing to talk of the trio(US,Iraq & Iraq) by itself is a great move towards peace in the region.
Posted by diplomacy3 at 11:04 AM : Mar 07, 2007

Absolutely. There can be no hope of peace in that region without the participation of all parties concerned and if Bushy likes it or not Iran is most definitely a concerned party. Esp since our fearless leader keeps rattling his empty saber scabbard at them. Bush needs to shut the f*uck up about threatening Iran and sit his as*s down and talk to them.

by seymour hersh, www.newyorker.com ;

US Vice President *** Cheney. Now, instead of launching a war against Iran, Cheney with Bush%u2019s complicity, has pulled the trigger on a covert war of global proportions pitting Sunnis against Shias.

According to Hersh, Cheney%u2019s covert plan involves massive US financial backing for militant Sunni groups that are known to be inimical to the Shia militias of the Badr Brigades, the Mahdi Army, Hamas and Hezbollah all of whom support the revolutionary government of Iran. The US-backed Sunnis include the Muslim Brotherhood, a vast and powerful multinational organization, who are definitely on friendly terms with Al-Qaeda and its allies, including the Taliban. The government of Saudi Arabia is Sunni, although they are deeply despised by the Muslim Brotherhood, the Taliban and Al-Qaeda because of their subservience to their masters in big oil and George Bush%u2019s America.

The Israeli right and a rogue faction of the royal family of Saud who are loyal to Prince Bandar bin Sultan are backing Cheney%u2019s covert plan. The ultimate objective of Cheney%u2019s redirection of US strategy in the region is to redraw the national boundaries of the Middle East and to give an explosive multiple birth to a sprawling litter of new cantons, colonies, domains, enclaves, protectorates, statelets and territories all pledged to American and Israeli dominance of the region and its precious oil, gas and energy reserves.
