This is GENOCIDE - how can GW Bush criticize SUDAN - THE U.S.A. DID NOT CHOOSE or VOTE FOR WAR in IRAQ - it was GW Bush's administration - STOP ALL WARS, DIPLOMACY or possibly ISOLATIONISM is ONLY WAY to PEACE FOR U.S. CITIZENS. The average American Citizen is not GREEDY, they want jobs, family, food, & health care - AT NO TIME DID THE U.S. CITIZEN APPROVE 3 TRILLION DOLLARS FOR WAR IN IRAQ or AFGHANISTAN, for that matter!

The media are all in it with this crooked adminstration to cook up these pieces to fool us. WHERE IS THE REAL NEWS?

Are you Fu&&ing serious. The media (this site in particular) is so liberally biased it is pathetic. One ounce of something you don't agree with being reported, and you cry like a little girl. I guess you were okay with all the Anna Nicole Smith headlines when there wasn't a splashy "suicide bomber" report from Iraq to get its vaulted spot front and center on this news site. That worthless piece of $hit is all over the headlines and you never hear about anything but a suicide attack. What about the fact that the IRAQI's on these missions now outnumber US forces 2-1 in the security sweep. Go cruy somewhere else you Pu$$y

then we need to elect officials that will act in the best interest of the people, not business and industry like both the Democrats and the Republicans have done for the last 50 years

you can not say you are an American and condemn what we did over there

The American people do need new candiates on both sides of the aisle, actually a third party that is representing the American public. I have no loyalty to any party and do not belong to any party. There are only a hand full of politicians in both parties that represent the America public interest. That is why I constantly post for campaign finace reform that is public financed 100%.As far as what Saddam did to his own people that was a travesty that should never occurred.Just like through tax breaks and incentives the mandatory abortions that occur in China, Korea, and Vietnam should not occur. We are subsidizing this through tax breaks and credits to corporations that move there or by the lack of a tarriff on goods coming from these countries.Or the fact we have turned a blind eye to the genocide that is occurring in Darfur. These are ongoing atrocities that we America do not address, not to mention the thousands of others. What made Iraq unique that we had to invade it and topple the government with all the other ongoing problems in the world? With our own war against terrorism left unfinished what made Saddam unique to warrant our attention?

This piece of garbage journalism just stinks of propoganda.

"The U.S. forces are seeking a "reconciliatory approach" to avoid sparking a backlash on the streets, said Col. Richard Kim. One small gesture seemed to offer appreciation: a child offering soldiers ice cream bars. "

***, a child offering soldiers ice cream bars. That just sounds like Vietnam War era "feel good" propoganda. Body count, appreciation of local population. These are all lies. The media are all in it with this crooked adminstration to cook up these pieces to fool us. WHERE IS THE REAL NEWS?

"Saddam was a tyrant, ..."

The word tyrant refers to a ruler of ancient greek cities who oppressed the rich and the aristocracy on behalf of the common people. Over time, and especially in light of early American democracy, the word "tyrant" took on a negative meaning. However, our current government in comparison to early American democracy is worse than tyranny, it is oppression by an aristocracy. I'm trying to understand what you are saying about Saddam, it sounds like a trivial clicke, like you don't knwo what you are talking about, you are just mouthing bakc Bush's inane words.

A "tyrant" would be a better government for most people, in general, than an "oligarchy" of corporate and other oppressive interests. Of course, democracy would be better than either, so are you working for democracy here in America, or are you blindly following the oligarchs head butcher-boy Bush?

but no matter what anyone says about who did what

after all that went down before Saddam's regime fell, over 2 million human beings had already died, and to date, there is still no accounting for the weapons and materials every major intelligence agency in the world confirmed was in Iraq's possession

you can not say you are an American and condemn what we did over there

its not a blame game, Saddam was a tyrant, and so were his sons

Saddam held this at bay for decades by slaughtering the Sunni's and forcing them into submission of the Shiite minority. Hey, payback is a pain, but its not America's fault.

Saddam was a Sunni and held the shiites at bay not the Sunni's as you stated.May have been a typo on your part but that is the facts.

Do you really think that if they didnt sucker the USA into funding them one way or another, that there would be no alternative funding? If so, your just slashing your claws and gnashing your teeth at imagination, using deception to justify condemning something besides what should be condemned.

I was 100% for the action it took to remove the Bathists from power in Iraq. I remain undaunted in that belief. Saddam held this at bay for decades by slaughtering the Sunni's and forcing them into submission of the Shiite minority. Hey, payback is a pain, but its not America's fault.

We are now funding the same groups and organizations that have been our enemy although the ideology behind it is create a greater divide between the Sunnis and Shiites the fact remains that these groups have ties to Al Queda the one who struck us on 9-11. That is an insult to all the ones that died on 9-11 and to the American public.Read the articles and then read the Rand Corp report.

It would not have anything do with America if we had not invaded Iraq

If you have a problem with my stating that we are supporting terrorism which should not be a divisive issue but a unifying issue for all American's to rally against then here are the web sites that corroborate it.

Just more excuses. They dont reflect the truth. These people have had a blood feud going since Mohammad died. We are the patsies, they are just using the USA for excuses to slaughter people.

If I were in charge at the Red Cross I would set up camp in Iraq! Talk about a blood windfall, the Red Cross would have enough blood supplies for a decade!
