Suicide Bombing Part Of New Wave Of Violence In Iraqi Capital
- until the parties make their goal, the well being of their constituents, we are stuck with THE SAME OLD %$#@.

I don't think that's probable. I am an Independent and believe that until there are as many Independents as there are Repubs and Dems, we will maintain the stauts quo.
As long as the Dems and the Repubs can claim the majority of the voters as being in their camps, why would you expect them to change? Ain't gonna happen.
Fortunately, more and more voters are becoming disaffected with these two parties and their "party first" attitudes.
The tide will turn when the voter registration roles demand it. - Reply to this comment
- All I hear from Bush Adminstration officials is excuses, spin and whining. I am sick of it. They need to be removed.

- I don't recall there's ever been a United States president that has ignored his own people who voted him into office. You have to wonder if the anti-christ we hear so much about is what we see today ! Has there ever been a worse president if you can call him that.

This shows what happens when the self-righteous are allowed to make the calls.....they're all for a theocracy.
Fortunately for us all, after seeing the disastrous results of electing an entrenched "believer", most won't want to see that happen again. - Reply to this comment

Bush only listens to Cheney, Rove, and God. Not to the American people, not to voices of reason, just those three. - Reply to this comment
- There was allegely 5 plans on Iraq for Bush to consider before the increase in troops. He brushed off all but one which was beleived to have the least likely chance of success. The other plans called for upsetting the current gov. and replacing it. Division of Iraq into three autonomous zones with talks with Syria and Iran to stablize the region and allow withdrawal of our troops. The backing of a Shiite military submitting to the disolving of the "democracy" in Iraq.Supporting the current government and allowing it take control of Iraq and the withdrawall of US forces. Finally was the withdrawall of forces to the borders and allowing the Iraqis to fight it out amongst themselves. Looking for the source on this I came across it yesterday .

Precisely why I observe that the neocon philosphy appeals to the self-righteous, the xenophobes, and the paranoid. - Reply to this comment

That's what make us different from Neo-cons like pwrslm,lars008,etc who want to support Bush at any cost even if that cost is in the form of USA herself.
I don't understand, why these people are like that?I don't know about Marine corp, when I was in the Army,we were taught Seven Army Core Values, two of which are Loyalty and Selfless service.
I think Neo-Cons are more loyal to their Backward ideology then USA herself as they know their Ideology is based on NON-SENSE ways of doing business. Also they don't believe much in Selfless service. They care more about their own selves, own ideology without common sense and their group's interest more then the interest of country and nation. - Reply to this comment
- You have to win the minds and hearts of the populace in order to win the war against terrorism. If you fail to do that then you fail to win the war.

The problem is, radiob, that this type of understanding escapes the self-righteous, the xenophobes, and the paranoids who make up the neocon base, and unfortunately, it's leadership as well. - Reply to this comment
- Their approach is to kill the roaches one by one thinking that that will solve the problem. What they obviously fail to understand is that until the breeding is stopped, the terrorists, like cockroaches, will just keep coming out of the walls.

Again hitting the nail on the head, if they spent more money in a counter campaign of appeasement which right now (last figures that were pulbished) only accounts for 3% of the campaign against terror and the intel communitys budget they might see some real results.Instead they would rather focus all the money towards militiary solutions. They are emblodening the terrorist with there current campaign and recruiting more with it.A understanding of the regions politically, economically, socially and religiously would do serve them better than the constant threats of war.You have to win the minds and hearts of the populace in order to win the war against terrorism. If you fail to do that then you fail to win the war. - Reply to this comment

Well excuse the rest of us here. We aren't as Superior as you are and didn't catch that "Proof" you posted. Care to run over that again? ROFLMAO I just LOVE to hear these, it's all the fault of "Liberals" produce their Proof. It's all taken from Fascism 101 and if they can't blame OTHER American's for their screw up's, they rarely have any "Proof" to offer at all. In 4 LONG years we have YET to see ONE, NOT ONE, peaceful day in a Nation that supposed had WMD's and was harboring Bin Laden. They were also, according to Dead Eye Richard, going to great us with flowers. No Weapons, NO Connection and they LOVE our peace and Democracy so much that they haven't been able to get through ONE day peacefully. Why? Well because OTHER people are incouraging them to give us a hard time? ROFLMAO Even a ditto head CAN'T believe that load of manure...can they? ROFLMAO - Reply to this comment

I think that which mistifies me most about the neocon's approach to terrorism is how they fail to understand that dealing with terrorism is like dealing with a cockroach infestation.

- Not a surprise at all, considering how they conduct themselves here, that they support the neocon policy of confrontation and conflict rather than a policy of coexistence, eh?
