- We've had four years of Bush & Cheney allowing this war to be a GOP insider's money grab. They have not made one sound decision about this debacle yet. Why should we extend their credit to fight any further?
Guess they figured even by putting their own 'yes' men in all the key roles they'd somehow still prevail and be the richer for it. Too bad for them the plan failed, too bad for Iraq, too bad for the US Armed forces and our reputation in the world. I can gurantee you if all American military + their invader allies go to Iraq, they can still not win the war, because the war started with the wrong bases. They killed 100s of thousands, spent billions and still the situation much worse than 3 yrs ago. Iraq has become a no win situation for Americans. - Reply to this comment

The problem with that thinking is the enemy has adjusted! The enemy is no longer a country with borders and military uniforms! The enemy now hides behind innocent civilians and attacks from behind a womens dress! The enemy now uses proxy terror groups who can't be directly linked to a central government. - Well folks so much for Sir Lies-A-Lot and his "Deciding". So what's next? Does he ask for more American Troops? He certainly can't get them from any friends since we no longer have any. I'd like to see those in the Religious Reich step up to the plate here. YOU lousy pieces of human garbage gave us Sir Lies-A-Lot. If you do not ignor our Constitution and IF you do not elect him BECAUSE of his Religion we do not have this mess... The American military can easily win in Iraq if it doesn't mind dealing with a very high civilian body count! But then the civilian body count in Iraq is already high so maybe the American military should go for it, some advocate just that just to end this nonsense. Insurgents are cowards who hide behind and blow up innocent civilians. Insurgents know the American military don't want to harm innocent Iraqi civilians so thats where the coward insurgents hang out! I don't agree with your assessment.

Well those things happen when you go around INVADING other Countries. IF the Civilian body Count goes up much more we're looking at being ranked right up there with some to the truly greats in the area of MASS murder. Who's side are you on by the way, the sunni, which make up the insurgency or the Shiite which make up the Government? Civil War's are like that you know... no matter what side you pick it's the wrong side. I can't help but long for the nation we had for over 200 years, the one who had a consistent policy of NOT attacking people UNLESS we were attacked. - American people are learning it is ok to disagree with a President who is friends of Saudi Arabia and who gives them special treatment on the world stage at the expense of American lives. 95% of killing done in Iraq is done by Sunnis Sponsored by Saudi Arabia! Why is no one reporting this?

- How do you expect a bunch of criminals, abusers and rapest American military to bring peace in Iraq. America became so arrogant and thought she could dictate the world using force, but this war gave arrogant politicians an unforgettable lesson and their shameful failures will become part of their history. A superpower and richest country of the world cannot even fight with a few thousand lightly armed fighters who has no army, no navy, no training and no aircrafts. What can be more humiliating to America than this? Twenty per cent of Americans lives below poverty line, Child mortality is the highest in America amongst big industrialized countries, I think America should solve its internal problems first, before illegally invading others.

- This week, an Iraqi police checkpoint nearby also came under attack, and the police fled. When U.S. forces moved in and secured the area the Iraqis returned, only to flee again when more gunfire was aimed their way
