How in the hell do you get that "League Of Extraordinairy Gentlemen" has anything to do with the Masons? {Not that there is anything wrong with Masons anyway. They financed by daughter and son-in-law (SIL is a Mason) to take my grandson to a neurosurgeon in Cleveland.} "League" is a compilation of classical literature. Characters and things from "Tom Sawyer" ,"The Picture of Dorian Grey", "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea", "Dr. Jekell and Mr. Hyde" and many more books are in that movie! - Reply to this comment

- Oh and, in case you think you are safe in your little Republican state, you are as long as no one takes an interest in you all of a sudden:
Rounding Up U.S. Citizens
by Marjorie Cohn, Portside
The Military Commissions Act of 2006 governing the treatment of detainees is the culmination of relentless fear-mongering by the Bush administration since the September 11 terrorist attacks.
Because the bill was adopted with lightning speed, barely anyone noticed that it empowers Bush to declare not just aliens, but also U.S. citizens, "unlawful enemy combatants."
Bush & Co. has portrayed the bill as a tough way to deal with aliens to protect us against terrorism. Frightened they might lose their majority in Congress in the November elections, the Republicans rammed the bill through Congress with little substantive debate. - Reply to this comment

- Badax,, You must be an admirer of Cheney's -- Here's a statement from one of or troops, which there are currently over 1,000 of them petitioning Congress over the Iraq War.
"Just because we volunteered for the military doesn't mean we volunteered to put our lives in unnecessary harm and to carry out missions that are illogical and immoral."

- MBCSmith,
It has been proven a million times, just because the shills on CORPORATE MEDIA won't show it doesn't mean it isn't true... No americans more ties to the Bin Ladens than the Bush family... I'm so surprised bush isn't concerned about his old family friend Bin Laden... and then just go look at who benefits from all this BS... Bushs, Bin Ladens, and the Saudi Royal Family. You're supporting a guy that makes Benedict Arnold look like a Patriot.
Fact is Bin Laden isn't even wanted by the FBI in connection for 9-11. Bin Laden is a CIA operative who was running around the united states in the mid 90's living it up as an arab playboy under the name Tim Osman. - Reply to this comment
