David1737,
I agree. These individuals have done as much harm from inside the borders of our country, over our own airwaves, as any terrorist has done from outside.

They are the ones who spread the spin of the GOP out across America, dividing its people, pumping up one group of people to feel superior over another group of people based on opinion. It is Limbaugh's opinion that Republicans are somehow better than Democrats. Why, because HE is one?

What is the comparable list of Democrats given such volumes of airtime?

First it's...

"MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!"

Then it's...

"CUT AND RUN!", "CUT AND RUN!"

Then, the Brits withdraw and it's...

"MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!"

Hmmmmmm.

That's really a nice picture of Cheney. I wonder how they were able to touch up that evil smirk he always wears.

Cheney has a brillant mind, but his has always been a twisted genius. And with genius there's a thin line between sanity & insanity. Cheney is definitely moving closer & closer towards insanity & it's an insanity that's very cold & calculated.
I despise Bush, but there aren't enough words to express how much I hate Cheney. He is the only person on this earth that I truly hate, & I know hate is wrong. I hate him for the cold, calculated way he manipulates everything, for all the deaths he is responsible for, for what he has done to America & for his never ending lies & for his unquenchable greed. I'm sure hell has a special place waiting for Richard Cheney, but I hope he lives long enough to be punished in this world for what he has done.

The United States could have maintained honor by thoroughly assessing the detriments and benefits of war. This war was an egregious blunder in foreign policy and the American as well as Iraqi people will suffer the repercussions long after dumb and dumber leave office. Just exactly what is OUR MISSION Mr. Cheney? More than three thousand American lives have been sacrificed for "democracy in Iraq". The brilliant military strategy implemented spiraled Iraq into a civil war with daily escalating violence and little hope for peaceful resolution. I am appalled at this administration's callous disregard for the will of the American electorate. 2008 can not come soon enough!

Marcus,
"They do not care a flip about the American people or a safer world all they care about is their own interests and keeping power."

I didnt used to believe that. I thought it was all just bad decision making.

My mind changed when they tried to slip the sale of our ports to the mid-east under our noses. Wow, that took a lot of gall.

Bush / Cheney took there eye off the ball a long time ago when the saw a chance to make a fast break for the US tax payer's wallet. They do not care a flip about the American people or a safer world all they care about is their own interests and keeping power.

There plan from the get-go was to smash it up in Iraq to have a go at all the oil money and civilian contracts.

After 6 years of GOP fascist rule the US Treasury and Armed forces are busted, but Halliburton is FLUSH with you hard earned CA$H.

My mom and grandma are both Republicans who voted for Bush and now regret it.

I think what America learns from all this is that before voting, one needs to first clear the air of the smoke screen so one knows where they are going. Vote with an informed mind not one clouded with emotional talking points.

I think that what they and other honest republicans should do is to take their party back from these extremists before their party is dragged down with them. In the 60's the democratic party came to the conclusion that racists were eating our party up from the inside out. We changed, through no small sacrifice as we lost the entire old South, but it was still the right thing to do. Yes we still have some extremist liberals in the party (like yours truly sometimes), but all in all our party is better off. The republicans need to slice the cancer of neoconservatives like Cheney and his ilk and the extreme religious right wing bigots (Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, etc) out of their party. It will hurt, but your party will be better off for America in the long run.

The Antichrist speaks and says "I don't care how many Americans die in vain, as long as this war does not make me look bad."

Cheney should be tried as a traitor for exposing Valerie Plame, and should face the hangmans noose if that is still prescribed by our law. [yes, by law, not by what the Bush administration currently says our law should be] I hope hell is holding a special slot for this useless piece of humanity. What a waste of carbon.

Latest poll results show 57% of Americans want U.S. to pursue a successful resolution in Iraq and 17% want an immediate withdrawl. I guess the LIBS will have to flip again after the flip-flop.

Please share the poll you read the above in. I have serached the internet over and can not find that specific question in either of the major polls (AP Ipsos, USA Today Gallup). Based on thier poll analysis Americans are feed up with this war and oppose any increase in troop strength and favor establishing a time table for complete withdrawal by the end of next year.

WHAT A CROK! THE BRITS ARE CUT AND RUNNING. THE V P , SAYS ITS A SIGN OF PROGRESS. THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WILL NOT SUPPORT A POLICY OF RETREAT. THE LAST POLL I READ, SAID THAT ABOUT 70 PERCENT OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WANTED TO BRING OUR TROOPS HOME. IF THE BRITS, HAD SO MUCH PROGRESS IN THE SOUTH,(BASRA) SEND THEM TO BAGHDAD,AND MAYBE THEY CAN DO THE JOB , THAT BUSH & CHENEY CAN'T GET DONE.

"The American people will not support a policy of retreat." Vice President *** Cheney

Let me fix that typo for you...Mr. Cheney will not support a policy of retreat.

Caution on the GOP using words like "retreat", it is a useful tactic to use words with strong negative connotation to incite emotion, rather than reason. The reverse is patriotic country songs with fist-pumping video showing the American flag. The GOP uses whatever it takes to sway opinion in their favor, whatever it takes....to stay in power.

AaaBee:

"Lord Limbaugh and company."

I know. Derided indeed.
There is little room for facts in the Karl Rove "News" Network.

Victimizing people with emotional rhetoric is a requirement when the facts don't substantiate the opinion.

"and then we want to come home, with honor."

Ther only this great nation of ours can begin to have any honor, and that is to put this man in prision. That may not be to far off:

http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/022107A.shtml

This administration has stripped our fine nation of its honor, we are looked upon by the world as a nation of liars, and we are blind to the truths of the real world.

We all have to thank the chimp and the co-president, as well as the news media, for our current situation. But what really makes matters worse is the American people don't care.
