MUNICH, Germany (AP) - Russian President Vladimir Putin blasted the United States Saturday for the ``almost uncontained'' use of force in the world, and for encouraging other countries to acquire nuclear weapons.
Putin told a forum of the world's top security officials that ``we are witnessing an almost uncontained hyper use of force in international relations'' and that ``one state, the United States, has overstepped its national borders in every way.
``This is very dangerous, nobody feels secure anymore because nobody can hide behind international law,'' Putin told the gathering.

What I find to be a constant in those that support Bush is the hatred they themselves demonstrate. They seethe about Muslims. They hurl insults at news organizations for reporting the truth. They disrespect posters who express a differing viewpoint.

- IF we go back to what this nation stood for in the 200 years plus before Sir Lies-A-Lot, we will suffer. That's what the Reich is telling us. We sold our souls to the FASCIST view of things, the Southern Fascist way of conducting oursleves with our friends and neighbors and it has been by any estimation the WORST blunder in this nations history, bar NONE. But, we are told, to pull back and show some HONOR toward friends who have been there through our history and simply say we picked the WRONG leader, would distroy the country. Bush was VERY wrong in what he did, HE humiliated our friends and acted like a Bully and it's time to admit we made a mistake. That's what AMERICA would have done in the days of FDR or John Kennedy. By the same token asking people who's history is that of being Terrorist, to address our situation in the world is not going to work. We need to turn to people who have been in the trenches against extremist like the KKK for guidence... the problem is that those people are the sworn enemy of those who have been lying to us for over 6 years now. This is the fundamental truth that the neocons ignored. These tribesmen have been fighting one another for fifteen hundred years. There is no 'National identy' in Iraq, only tribal. The different factions don't rely on borders. They are, each of them, spread throughout several countries. It is to be expected that tribesmen in Iran, Syria and other neighboring lands would want to fight alongside their 'brothers'. Our armed forces are beating a dead horse here, we cannot win this. What we can do, and appear to be in the process of doing, is expand this thing throughout the middle east. We need to get out of there as quickly as possible and let them fight this out. - How many American's will have to die? That's the ONLY issue WE the PEOPLE should be concerned with right now. Saving face for Bush and his "Administration" should NOT be in our thought pattern. The "Mission" here has been and continues to be one of saving face for a VERY INCOMPETENT President who has used the American Military Might to enforce HIS policy... a policy that has failed and failed VERY badly. Now it looks to me like we have two choices here. To continue to follow a leader who just a FEW short months ago was telling ALL of us that we were WINNING in Iraq or we do something different... we follow people who have been right about this mess from day one.
