Yep, simply boggle's the mind and we just keep dying in the attempt! I don't go to the Wall anymore... can't because all they died for has been forgotten and abandoned. When we learn we can not "Give" democracy or our system to others we will be ahead of the Game. Hell we can't even keep it for ourselves and have been fighting extremist for 200 years OURSELVES... how to you make OTHERS do that. I would suggest that you search the GERMAN News Service and check out WHO the German People find to be fascist there Lars. If you do that you will find that they by a WIDE margin of over 80% find OUR Religious Reich to be FASCIST as they do the leaders of the Radical Muslim faith's. Neither is right and Neither is good. When ALL nations on earth, every single one, decide to addopt what the Great Jefferson referred to as the "Seperation of Church and State" will we have peace. I am continuously amazed at the number of individuals who can not understand that a standing army can never defeat a competent guerilla force that has the support of the local polulace.
Colombia and the Phillipines have been failing at it for 40 years now with no end in sight.
Guatemala failed at it for 36 years before they sat down to the peace table.
You and I and the rest of America failed at it in Viet Nam for 20 years before sitting down to the table.
The USSR failed at it for 12 years in Afghanistan before packing up and going home.

You are obviously a Veteran and like myself are looking and dealing with this from that concept. Lars008 is obviously NOT a veteran and has never been in Combat. My most trusted friend and a man who had my back for most of my tour in Vietnam was a Muslim. LOL Right! Who but the most pathetic LOSER and supporter of Sir Lies-A-Lot is going to agree with this. When we realize we are in the middle of a Civil War we can start to figure a way out. At this point Sir Lies-A-Lot and the poor simple minded few like this loser who support him are the only ones who can't accept that fact. The problem people is the same as we faced in Vietnam. I commanded Troops in Vietnam and we could NOT ever be successful for two glaring reasons: 1) You can NOT determine who and where the enemy is and 2) You can NOT be assured that those who are Supposedly with you will remain so. I had two very good friends die when an RVN Regulars, people WE the United States Marines, had trained, turned on us in the middle of a fight.
