ISLAM / PERFECT EXAMPLE OF FASCISM!!!
islam is intent on killing or enslaving all non muslims......

The most notable characteristic of a fascist country is the separation and persecution or denial of equality to a specific segment of the population based upon superficial qualities or belief systems.

Simply stated, a fascist government always has one class of citizens that is considered superior (good) to another (bad) based upon race, creed or origin. It is possible to be both a republic and a fascist state. The preferred class lives in a republic while the oppressed class lives in a fascist state.

FACT:
24% of American's support a Nazi style government.
28% of American's continue to support the Neocon/Bush/Cheney agenda.
Therefore, 85.7% of all Neocon/Bush/Cheney supporters are Nazi lover's, too.

lars008... can you please provide us all with a link or a source for your comment about Joseph Wilson outing his wife in who's who, or is this yet another unsubstantiated accusation from the RNC propaganda machine?

7 killed. The corpses continue to pile up.

Hope Dubya and his neocon buddies are keeping track of their spectacular achievement in Iraq.

How sad i just saw a news flash on BBC that the US Defense Department claim this was not due to hostile fire. As all 7 died on impact and therefore there is not reason to think the unit was shot down. O Well they will not count in the war dead how sad. the best of good byes from Frank Bowers

I love how every Chicken Hawk has a solution to this problem. They've never been there so all they have is old John Wayne Movies to rely on. The problem as is the case with stupid Fascist Cheerleaders like Limpballs and Hanerity is it's all fantasy. When you are actually on the ground and trying to bring peace to a place where you have NO idea who or what the enemy is then John Wayne does NOT exist. When you are hated by BOTH sides in a civil war and you have TWO enemies sitting on the side lines cheering on BOTH, you have a situation where our guys are truly in the middle. Of course we now know that our Intel told Sir Lies-A-Lot and the Gestapo Chief this would happen BEFORE they invaded and it was ignored. They NEVER planned for this and LIED to We the PEOPLE about it to boot. That's just plain sending our kids off to die and THEY are responsible.. the blood is on their hands. I hope they spend eternity in total can complete misery, especially Cheney!

In December 1998, a four day bombing campaign against Iraq was initiated by the US and the UK.

George W. Bush used this Act to show that the previous administration supported a regime change in Iraq. The difference that Bush asked for was the authorization to use US troops to achieve this goal.

So, the Invasion of Iraq was not a plan cooked up by Bush to finish what his dad started, it was not part of some plan to obtain massive amounts of oil (note that Canada has more oil reserves than Iraq does and we would not have to fight a war to get it nor is it in a hostile area), and it certainly wasn't the beginning of World War III as one of you stated considering the fact that Russia does not have the economic stability nor does it have any desire to fight a war against the US or the UK and China is making so much money from US corporations that starting a war with the US is one of the last things on their mind.

In October 1998, Bill Clinton's policy towards Iraq turned to that of a regime change and the Iraq Liberation Act was passed which gave funds to Iraqi opposition groups in hopes of overthrowing Saddam Hussein. This was due to three reasons. 1) Between roughly 1980 and 1998 Iraq had committeed several significant violations to international law, 2) Iraq had failed to comply to obligations it had agreed to following the Gulf War, and 3) Iraq had failed to comply with resolutions of the UN Security Council. The stated goal of this act was to support a transition to democracy in Iraq. Seven groups within Iraq were deemed suitable to carry out this goal. An important feature of this act was that it said that use of US military force was not allowed except to train the groups.

I can read any new story here and if it mentions Iraq or Bush or the military or Israel or money the discussions all turn out to be exactly the same. And half of you are not even doing any research whatsoever before posting which leads to incorrect statements that number so high I couldn't even hope to correct all of them.

The Shi'a and Sunni hate each other more than they hate us. We happen to be in the way due to our attempts to curb the violence.
Catholics and Protestants once fought each other with as much hatred as is displayed here. Eventually, they got over their differences so it is not unreasonable to believe that the Sunni and Shi'a can get over theirs. The differences between them are really not that great considering most of the differences are about people who have long since been dead. This seems to be more of a hatred that is passed down from generation to generation.

I don 't understand why our forces along with the Iraqies do place a 360 degree blockard around the city. Nothing goes in or out without military escort. Meanwhile troops who remain interior[actually in the city] ferret out the bad guys, guns, mortars, ammo, etc. This will stabilize the city - but would mean a blockade would remain in place until a political solution is agreed upon. Meanwhile let our U S Marines have the responsibilities of keeping Iranian nationals from crossing over the border. Just tell the marines to get the job done and don't question how they do it. Anything less than these kind of terms has little chance for lasting success.
