NIE: Inadequate Iraqi Forces, Sectarian Fighting Makes Situation Tough To Improve
- Lars, your point about the Muslims being united is an interesting one. How then do you explain a decade of war between Iraq and Iran? or the fact that Shi'ites and Sunnis are killing each other in Iraq right now?
You want to think you/we are fighting a global movement of evil, when in fact we are delaing with manipulative leaders using religion as a tool to get their agenda acheived. The agenda is, as always, money and power. And we are just as bad, if not worse. - Reply to this comment
- which is why it is ironic that bush is seen by the evangelicals as the "Christian guy". I am sure masonry is wound all through this administration. probably a lot of people reading this are masons, but lower level ones that would be horrified to see what is taught in the "higher intiations".

- The idea that you would cite Genghis Khan as an example the US should follow says more about the moronic nature of your argument than any counterpoint anyone else could make.
Stalin didn't like Jews much, and nor did Hitler. Should we follow their example? The Christians were troublemakers to the Romans, and they killed a ********. Maybe we should do the same?
In fact, the Catholics considered Muslims and Jews both to be infidels, and gave them the choice to "convert or die" (just as radical Muslims tend to do). I take it you have heard of the Spanish inquisition?
In fact, by your logic, let's just kill everyone. There will be peace then, for sure!

- you want to see them as individual states, like the USA's separate states, but they are a united islamic states just as the USA is...... and they are attacking non muslims throughout the world.....

- ironically enough, himmler's work is directly linked to free masonry, particularly through rudoplh steiner and HP blavatsky's theosophy, to masonry. bush sr is a 33rd degree mason and I am sure junior is on the ladder somewhere.

- Lars, you are just a bigoted idiot. If you feel so strongly about this, sign up and fight. Otherwise, you are a bigoted, idiotic coward.

- the arab nations are doing the same thing, Jimi. and hitler did turn nazism into a religion, complete with specific holidays that were taken form the old germanic religion. the swastika itself is a symbol from the temples of Thor. their rituals were put in place by heinrich himmler, through his work with the Ancestral orden. they mixed it with race and it became nazism.

Furthermore, Lars, JFK was atlking in that speech about defending our country, not invading countries who had not attacked us or sticking our nose in other country's business.
Why are you and those like you so anxious to have a global war? Does it make your *** hard? - Reply to this comment
- don't like JFK? well maybe you'll like genghis jhan, after he killed all that opposed him there was a 100 years of peace......
GENGHIS KHAN KNEW HOW 2 TREAT MUDSCUMS!
The Mongol Empire practiced religious tolerance to a large degree because it was generally indifferent to belief. The exception was when religious groups challenged the state. For example Ismaili Muslims that resisted the Mongols were exterminated.

I take it you mean subjugating less powerful countries, Lars? Well, no, they aren't, for one thing; in Iraq, they are trying to defend what liitle they have against American invasion. And maybe you missed the part where I pointed out that two wrongs don't make a right? - Reply to this comment
- Lars,,,,, It might help to actually start with your own beliefs in the Good Book,, Try what it tells you,,, COMPASSION & UNDERSTANDING --
- Of course that's running the risk of being called "UN AMERICAN" or "UN PATRIOTIC" or "EMBOLDENING THE ENEMY"

The problem with that, Lars, is that it is supremely arrogant and intrusive, and assumes we know better than other countries how to run their own affairs.
And how exactly do half-a-million dead Iraqis and a country in shambles advance the cause of liberty? We have killed more Iraqis than Saddam did in 20 years, and destroyed the economy and social structure of the country.
And if you think regime change at the point of American guns is liberty, you are high. - Reply to this comment
- The Old Testament, on the other hand, is a handbook of murder, war, incest, drunkenness and intolerance.
Imagine there's no Heaven.

The Old Testament shows people at a certain point in history. Their understanding of God was reflective of their state of evolution at the time. realize the context- the nations around them were much worse (burning their own children alive, etc.) Christ refined and changed the Old Testament. When in doubt, the New Testament trumps the Old Testament. Christ was pacifist, but he also accepted soldiers and whatnot without requiring them to quit their jobs. my point was the truly violent essential nature of the muslim religion. - Reply to this comment

- Naziism was not a religion, for one thing. For another, the US is behaving far more like Nazi Germany than the Arab powers. We are using race, religion and a false sense of our own superiority as a reason to subjugate smaller, less powerful countries for our own selfish ends of power and money.
