The Bible is GOD'S WORD, NOT MINE.

Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson will say the same thing at the same time they are reaching into the pockets of the poor and uneducated. Just because you quote scripture doesn't mean you are right or holy. Some of the most evil men on earth professed to be 'christians'. Being a parrot does not equate to being right or holy.

Kick this hypocrit's butt quite hard, then he'll leave you alone. Incredible how this sickeninrick can be such hypocrit claiming to be a pro-war (whoever is the ennemy, if any...) and at the same time talking of Pacifist J-Christ who was against any form of violence.

Also with this being said, I AM allowed to disagree with people if they spread hate on here, and I AM entitled to speak out for the Lord just like others are allowed to speak out against Him.

Pal, you don't speak out for the Lord, you use scripture to further the neocon agenda.

JESUS IS A LIBERAL!

1 Peter 3:10 declares, "For, Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech."

I'll tell you something, my fine feathered friend, we have heard as much deceit from you as from any other neocon here.

We should only allow good and positive things to come out of our mouths - things that will encourage other people (Ephesians 4:29). It is not right for praising and cursing to come out of the same mouth (James 3:9-12).

You're fed up? You're a Christian, right? Imagine how we atheists fell about 'em!

WHAT AMERICA IS ABOUT:

Everyone has the RIGHT to believe whatever they choose. NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT to force their beliefs on another.

The so-called 'religious right' is nothing more than a bunch of greedy neocons attempting to steer everyone to their path with intimidation.
Jesus IS a liberal.

God, I'm sick of these bible-thumping, scripture quoting, robe wearing hypocrits talking constantly of their piety while following a doctrine of 'to hell with the poor and oppresed of the world'. Jesus chased the bast*rds out of the temple.

Actually we do have the right to rebuke people who pose as Christians and mock the word of God.

It's all in the scripture.

Goodbye exusmcsgt.

Commense your Christian hating.

dallison just a couple of days ago you were posing on these boards as a Christian and posting prayers on a message board, and then you post something like this?

I'll leave it at that. Nothing else needs to be said.

Have a good day.

ARE YOU SO SHALLOW TO THINK THAT PEOPLE WHO DO NOT SHARE YOUR VIEWS ARE NOT CHRISTIAN? I STAND BY EVERYTHING I SAID, AND BY THE WAY, THE BIBLE DOES NOT SAY "THOU SHALT NOT TAKE BUSH'S NAME IN VAIN."

This is not judging, but rather pointing out the truth.

A distinction without a difference, preacherman.

singinrick-

What's up with you Christians? You feel you have a right to judge everyone by your own belief set, eh?

Save your preaching (and you judgmentalism) for church, preacherman.

Congress should seriously consider making some sort of a law that forces an obstinate do as he pleases President to use diplomacy first and the war machine last!
Posted by grumpas at 09:51 AM : Feb 01, 2007

The law you're calling for already exists, grumpas. The constitution grants the power for declaring war to the Congress and not the president for this very reason.

In the case of Iraq, the administration falsified intelligence to get the Congress to provide the authorization.

The law only is as good as those who practice it.

This method should have been used with Saddam Hussein instead of invasion! But, I realize Bush doesn't believe in negotiating with anyone.

Diplomacy is defined by Merriam-Webster as:

1 : the art and practice of conducting negotiations between nations
2 : skill in handling affairs without arousing hostility

Bush/Cheney/Rice obviously have never heard of the term.

The N. Korea situation has basically been outsourced to China.

The Israeli-Palestinian situation has basically been outsourced to the E.U.

And Iraq is accepting the outsourcing of their own situation.

Why do we even have a State Department? It is certainly not used by this administration. For all intents and purposes, it was boarded up in January, 2001.
