I do not like HRC. I do not like CBS saying in this article, that she is an expected front runner in the next prez., election. she wallows in the same stinking pot as Bush does. who needs more of this ***? certainly not the USA.

It will be interesting to see how the Clinton(s) politically destroy Barack Obama while simultaneously proclaiming to "feel the pain" of black people.

MRpete8: HILLARY, AND TED, ARE DOING EXACTLY WHAT THIS COUNTRY WANTED WHEN THEY VOTED THE DEMOCRATS INTO OFFICE AND SENT A MESSAGE TO THE BUSH, LED REPUBLICANS AND HIS ADMINISTRATION THAT THIS COUNTRY IS FED UP WITH THE LIES, AND SENSELESS KILLING OF OUR KIDS IN IRAQ. YOU AND THE OTHER 24% OF THE BUSH SUPPORTERS, HAVE HAD YOUR BREAK. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

"Go Hillary" This women supported George Bush's war and has remained silent as disaster unfolded. Now she finally reappears after 3 years in wilderness. As a progressive liberal, I cannot in good concience vote for this phoney.

Well, it took 12 years for the Democratic Party to grow a spine, but I'm still very greatful!

Next thing you know, Hillary MIGHT even apologize for her vote to authorize this war in the first place!

Then again, that would just be crazy.....

OBAMA 2008!!!

Please go to www.impeachbush.org

We are in danger of losing our beloved U.S.A. There is no way to guess the additional destruction this idiot-in-chief can cause in the next two years.

Thank God we are hearing some voices of sanity from some of the senators now, GO HILLARY!!

After the Republican Congress and Senate passed the Homeland Security legislation that the Neocons wanted, Osama was retired as an offical US Government Boogeyman.

It is about time Hillary showed her colors. I was leaning toward Edwards who has been outfront on this war for 3 years. Now maybe the Democrats will have a real say. CUT THE FUNDS FOR "Surge" aka Escalation.
I was a college teacher as Vietnam wore down. I remember the limbless boys who had dead eyes that came back and took their meager GI bill to get an education. They had seen war. Bush, and cronies, were playing football and getting votes for Republicans instead of walking in rice paddies and watching as their buddies faces disappeared as they were breathing Agent Orange.
IMPEACH Bush/Cheney NOW!!!!
Come on Hillary. Come on Obama. Come on Warren. Come on Edwards. Come on Murtha. Come on Pelosi. It is TIME.

Afghanistan was only a 'pearle' in the necklace of failure that Bu$h wears.
We will be cleaning up Dubya's messes for generations.
Get those troops home, they are just patsies in the Bu$h 'War on Terra'.

Senator Clinton is correct. The Taliban sheltered Al Queda who was responsible for 9/11. Bush vowed to get both. While in the process, we left off the fight and went after Saddam who while a dictator, had nothing to do with 9/11. Now, we have a quagmire in Iraq that no other country wants to help us with and the Taliban has made a major comeback in Afrangaistan(?). The Republicans signed off on Bush's strategy after the truth came out and continue to do so. The Senate/House resolutions give both parties the chance to do something about Iraq. Those who favor Bush's policies should say so. Those who do not, have the same responsibilities. Both will face the voters in 2008 where we will have a choice.

the shopworn liberal non-platform of "bringing home the troops". Pffffffffft!
Posted by Rusty50 at 09:42 AM : Jan 17, 2007

How is bringing home the troops a "non-platform"?
I suppose you support the platform "I don't care what Congress or the American people want - I'm the decider". Yeah - that's the democratic way...

"Way to go Sen. Clinton!
Posted by jh6379 at 08:32 AM : Jan 17, 2007"

Two brain dead peas in a pod. This is the best the sharpest minds of the dems can come up with? Only with CBS and the democratic party would this be news. So she opposes the buildup. Wow - what a major "change" from the shopworn liberal non-platform of "bringing home the troops". Pffffffffft!

Osama should have been our main priority all along.

Right on!! I think we should have 150,000 troops in Afghanistan - not Iraq.

Clinton based her opinions on talks with U.S. military leaders in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as with the Iraqi government, including Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

Who knows better than our Military leaders there...She did what needed to be done, unfortunately W'yas probably off playing with his chain saw.

bluestardad -
I agree that we do need more troops in Afghanistan. We need to catch Bin Laden no matter what Saudi Arabia says.

EXACTLY but the Saudi's are Bush's buddies, he won't pi$$ them off too much oil.
