I think that the president's speech was an insult to my, granted limited, intelligence. He said nothing really new. While he DID finally admit that mistakes were made, he was careful not to assign those errors to the culpable party; himself. As far as the new direction of the war, what is new about Bush forcing his view of freedom, liberty, and justice on a population that has clearly said that they dont want that version, while at home the founding fathers' version of freedom, liberty and justice is being systmatcially destroyed.

The bottom line is that the US has no stake in this fight...the Iraqis have to fight it out for themselves. As a free people it is their RIGHT to fight it out for themselves...they'll get tired soon, make peace and life will get back to normal.

The final insult is the assertion that a US withdrawal from Iraq will result in violence and bloodshed. What will sending 20,000 warriors equipped with helocopters, missles, tanks and the like into a war zone cause? A Tea Party?

nyckate,

where were you on 9/11.

You want to talk about lying sniveling types, go and visit Pervert Bill at his office, or better yet, the cuckolded shrill shrew he's supposedly married to.

Unless you are. LOL

And yes, our troops and OUR PRESIDENT deserve our support. It is high time those who gave us the Vietnam debacle, who betrayed the Shah, who dawdled with bimbos while Osama sharpened his knives realized that.

Let our military finish the job, and then come home. Not for some dumb b*tch with botox from the Bay Area or the Drunk Intern Killer.

singinrick - liberals?? You mean all teh generalas and admirals who've come out against Bush? - or wait maybe his hand-picked Iraq Commission?

That you are still trying to blame Bush's many failures on liberals shows the immaturity of the Bush supporters - you can't accept you picked a loser - that you backed a lying, thieving, sniveling cowardly thug over the likes of McCain -- your idea of 'bush and his christian morals' is what makes you sad yet comical figures living in delusions and adoring a fake god named George. That you place loyalty to George before God and Country makes will forever mark bush supporters as unamerican.

WE LIVE IN A FASCIST COUNTRY!!!!

Here's a hint. Evil lies in the hearts of men.

Men will LIE, STEAL, and KILL for their wealth & comfort. You do NOT live in the Country you think you do.

You live in the Matrix. The Rule of the Rich. A Tyranny. A Lie. From the Government Controlled TV to the Rewritten History...

You live in a FAKE, SICK, EVIL EMPIRE.
