Sounds from the headline like the US government's trying to get us to believe that they didn't have their hands all over this execution even though they did since they had control of Saddam up until the execution . . . why they waste so much time on 'impression management' which nobody ever believes is beyond me - and then they wonder why they have zero credibility, respect, or support?!?

Whatever . . . what I find truly troubling is the fact that they've pinned their hopes of establishing a democracy on a president who doesn't seem fazed about breaking the law while he has been entrusted with the task of enforcing the Nation's laws - is it fundamentally possible to establish security when people don't believe in the law enforcement process? Why should people place their faith in the system and trust law enforcement? I just don't see how this is supposed to happen . . .

How do some of you know to get up and breath the air in the morning. Now Sadam is honered by many and this of course will lead to perhaps millions joining the insane march to kill. Thank you for all you do thinking that you can win a war on terror by fighting with conventional methods. There is only one way to fight this type of war and that is the same way it is waged. If you can not do this then get out ot the kitchen America, in fact we really should leave because we have made such a mess now that it can not be fixed.
