It's amazing the selective memories the Republican morons have.

The crimes Saddam is being executed for, were crimes committed while he still had the complete and total support of the United States.

Not only that - but the United States knew that he was committing these crimes and continued to support him afterwards.

In addition, in the case of the chemical weapons used at Halabja, the US State Department actually tried blaming Iran for the deaths of the Kurds.

Like it or not, the United States had a big part to play in the crimes Saddam is now to be executed for.

The United States may not have pulled the trigger (so to speak), but it was a party to the crimes before and after they were committed.

The question is, who should be held responsible for being a party to these crimes?

The Reagan Administration (although Reagan is now beyond the reach of the law).

Are you still spewing your Chriistian hate message that no one takes seriously and thinks of you as nothing more than a fanatical, atheist bigot. You need to quit trying to hide behind the constitution of the U.S. being that YOU'RE NOT EVEN AMERICAN!!!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps that's because the President of the US is a complete and total fu*kwit with no morals.

Wow - he's just like Saddam (except Saddam was more honest about the way he did his killings).

You RADICAL CHRISTIAN CONSERVATIVES are the worst enemies of UNITED STATES but you are unaware of the fact because of your psychosis called CHRISTIANITY.You think that religion should be in the govt which is based on that BIBLE which teaches that women are DEVILS it was a WOMAN who helped DEVIL in getting a man kicked out of heaven. That BIBLE which teaches to discriminate against Americans because of their SEXUAL ORIENTATION.That BIBLE which has been proven flat wrong by IRAQ INVASION the, sole purpose of which was to help the 2nd coming of CHRIST but ended up making ISLAMIC RADICALISM so powerful like it was never before. If USA really a CHRISTIAN COUNTRY based on the RACISM,INJUSTICE,VIOLATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS and PSYCHOSIS(SANTA CLAUSE COMING ON A FLYING DEER TO DISTRIBUTE CANDIES,those believe in JESUS as MESSIAH are GOD-NEGLECTED and those who hate JESUS are GOD-CHOSEN,etc)then why shouldn't the whole world rise up against USA before the CHRISTIAN UNITED STATES kill millions of more INNOCENT PEOPLE In the world to help the 2nd coming of CHRIST.I wonder why CONDI RICE was so happy to see dead bodies of innocent women, children and elderly in LEBANON and why she compared that CATASTROPHY to BIRTH PANG.

Bush applauded the sentence. Such a good Christian. I abhor it. I think life in prison would have been appropriate or even lethal injection which if done correctly turns the brain off before death where hanging even if done correctly leaves a brain alive for several minutes after execution. Killing is not right, even for the killer. Applauding someones impending death is not moral. And please media, do not make this event a countdown. That would be tacky.

Agnim, thanks for showing your true hate America colors, every soldier in Bahgdad volunteered and a good number reupped to finish the mission. The U.S. is the most generous country in the world and our system of government is the fairest and most just for the people. The only destroyers of DC are people like you, please leave and do us all a favor.

I have told you before ,I don't care who follow what religion as long as they obey the CONSTITUTION of UNITED STATES which separates CHURCH from STATE unlike TALIBANS.By the way,all the things I am talking on this blog on internet,if I say the same things in PUBLIC,the TERRORIST PREACHER,PET ROBERTSON will issue a RELIGIOUS VERDICT of my death sentance just like he did with the Vanezuelan president. So you mean that THE SEAPRATION OF CHURCH AND STATE IS BASED ON HYPOCRISY just like the ACTIONS OF THOSE GOD-LOVING RELIGIOUS CHRISTIANS WHO SODOMIZE YOUNG LITTLE BOYS IN THOSE CHURCHES WHERE THEY PREACH AGAINST GAY MARRIAGE,otherwise United States is a CHRISTIAN COUNRTY which makes policies on the basis of CHRISTIANITY according to which HUMAN BEINGS SHOULD NOT BE TREATED on the basis of their actions but should be treated as GOD-NEGLECTED and GOD-CHOSEN on the basis of the RACE they are born in.That's why GOD-NEGLECTED AMERICANS were left to die in NEW ORLEANS after HURRICANE KATRINA at the same time when $3 billions form the US tax payed money was going to the NON AMERICAN GOD CHOSEN ENEMIES of THE GOD'S only SON as those AMERICANS were born in the BLACK RACE NEGLECTED by the RACIST GOD.

I never understood why we didn't take out Saddam Hussein during the Persian Gulf War. Surely they must have had a sharp shooter who could have infiltrated and done him in. My guess is that the aftermath would have been much bloodier for the Iraqi people than the so called civil war they have now.

" The butcher of baghdad is held in higher esteem than the president of the United states.

Posted by notblue at 05:19 PM : Dec 27, 2006"

Why should that surprise anyone, but one in denial? LOL

The Destroyer of DC has slaughtered many hundreds of thousands of humans than even Madman Hussein ever dreamed of punishing for their attempted assassination against him.

And the Destroyer of DC has done more damage to Iraq than Saddam could have imagined in his wildest dream.

Saddam is being killed not out of justice, but out of pure devilishness on the part of the murderous inimical invaders of Iraq!

What we are doing in Iraq is so disgusting, no wonder few soldiers wish to return.

The left wing fascists in this country know no bounds. The butcher of baghdad is held in higher esteem than the president of the United states. It's hard to win a war when a good number of the enemy lives in our backyard.

wow. Imagine Bush is eventually convicted of war crimes and sentenced to death). Do you think he will be so eloquent and courageous? I don't think so.

I think Bush and Cheney will go to the gallows blaming everyone else, turning on each other, scared and jumpy and still blaming the liberals. That's the usual fate of chickehawk cowards. It will be quite a contrast.

Even in death Saddam is making Bush look like a coward. It shows again that you have to have moral authority to win a war; its not enough just to brazenly kill hundreds of thousands, as Bush has done. Even the dead can defeat you.

I wonder how many pills Bush has to take to sleep at night, with so many ghosts seeking his soul and to drag him to Hell prematurely. I wonder if he feels the hot breath of Satan on his neck. He looks quite jumpy.

Psycotic9,
You do understand that 88.3% of the poulation of the U.S.A. is christian. 3.5% are affiliated with other religions, and only 8.4% are athiest or non religious. By design the United States is a religious country. The seperation of church and state was not designed to keep religion out of government, it was designed to keep the government out of religion. I welcome any healthy debate, but fortunately I do not have any more time to waste on your incoherent rambling. Thank God you live in the U.S.A. where your anti american venom is tolerated. Undoubtedly you would not be able to spout this kind of nation bashing in your own country.

Please, enough of the vitriol being tossed around here. Many belligerent forum writers just like to toss c__p back and forth. Let's bring this forum back as it should be, an intelligent repartee of diverse opinions.

Has anyone thought of why the U.S. did not simply kill Hussein and bin Laden with strategic bombing or assasination? This could have been done long before the U.S. invaded Iraq.

Leave Saddam alone. I promice you that he was just RULING, and that is very hard to do. Many were wanting to kill him. I don't care if he killed millions. They were his enemy. It is always OK to kill the enemy.

Hussein's request to "not hate the invaders", is an old political ploy to stave off being executed and to receive leniency, i.e. life in prison.
That way he can hope the country will eventually put him back in office someday.
Won't happen but what has he to lose.
And I'm betting that he will be given imprisonment and not be executed.
Too much at stake.

Our country is the greatest country in the world except the RADICAL,NONE SENSE,PSYCHOTIC CHRISTIANS.I don't care who follows what faith as foundation of all the religions are based on two principles,i.e;SENSE LESS NESS and VIOLATION of HUMAN RIGHTS.As long as somebody imposes his or her religion on him or herself,I have no problem as the constitution of our country gives freedom to practice religion. The problem starts when people bring their THOUSANDS of YEARS OLD NON-SENSE,BASE LESS,RACIST and UNJUST RELIGION BASED IDEOLOGY into politics and ruin our whole country.I am glad atleast you acknowlege the molestation of AMERICAN BOYS by GOD LOVING PRIESTS who do that act in the same CHURCHES where they preach people to DISCRIMINATE AGAINST THE GAY AMERICANS and DENOUNCE THEIR RIGHT OF MARRIAGE,which is a sign of PROGNOSIS.I hope you'll be alright if you keep on chatting with me.I wish you all the best.Again,it's not USA which is bad,it's the enemies of UNITED STATES known as CHRISTIANS who are BAD.

Psychotic9,
You need to memorize a few more phrases, the ones you keep using to rationalize your bizare thought process are getting boring. You are one seriously sick individual. What peace loving, egalitarian, crime free country do you come from, where no one causes harm. Do you honestly believe that because a few priests moselst kids our entire country is nothing but a pedophilic haven? Or is your inability to form a coherent thught process just a sign of your educational level. Please stop wasting oxegen.
