While the anti-American pro everything else gloom and doom crowd continue the daily and nightly drum beat of defeatism and blame America first our President (Pres. Bush) has stayed steady and strong and the execution of Sadam only shows his patience and cool leadership under fire from both his own country as well as those that their only intention and goal is the complete death and destruction of all that the west believes and stands for. So, while they hate President Bush they must know that it is his and our administration that is keeping the dumb little pea brains attached to their bodies.

It should be understood by all thinking peoples that regardless of the man's worthlessness, if he is hung because of the outcome of this trial, America will have succeeded again in deepening the mess we're in over there. I wish the man dead but I don't wish to have brave and loyal American service men and women dying in even greater numbers than what is already necessary because that is the inevitably result from his being execution by a puppet government of the U.S. As hard as it may be to understand for most people who can't get past their emotion in this thing, it was the accumulated emotion of a lot of Americans that made this whole murder rampage possible in the first place. if more Americans were thinking instead of feeling back before this fiasco started, none of this would have happened.

Interesting dude, but unfortunately it wasn't Iraqi justice in this case but American post-democratic justice. The trial was set up and controlled by the American political operatives. Bush gave the order to hang Saddam, the trial was a staged one in which for example several defense lawyers were murdered in cold blood.

So if it reflects a lack of civilization, than that is an appropriate criticism, but not of Iraqis rather of our war machine gone haywire.

The reason it matters is because the masters of death don't really distinguish in their sentiments between Iraq and America, if its good enough for them it will soon seem good enough for us, and its our children who will live in the shadow of the noose.
