When our citizens get killed, one thing we do as Americans is to try to use that to inspire ouselves to make changes. For example you have Megan's law, or the Brady bill. These are examples of a single American being killed and the reaction is to change the entire laws of the nation.

Now we have a situation where so many Americans are being killed without cause or reason. Sure we can blame George Bush personally, but what is the root cause. In other words, how can we prevent such things in the future.

If you look at the years directly before Bush, you see the seeds of this problem being planted. My own theory is the problem sprouted frome a presidency which has been elevated above its constitional powers, and from a bureaucratic military industry which needs to sustain its funding and importance by fighting wars even when none exist.

Clinton's "war" in Yugoslavia is the direct precursor to the current mayhem, as it was not authorized by Congress and it was mostly a catalog showcase war for the smart bombs of weapons manufacturers. It also served the important function of using up old inventory so the Pentagon could buy a whole set of new weapons.

The current military was created during WWII, since then they have found constant wars to fight based on little or no strategic interest for the United States. What did Korea or Vietnam have to do with the US. They have kept their size and funding levels up to WWII type of levels. People now admit even the "Cold War" was mostly concocted by the military bureaucracy, failry obvious conclusion when we see how weak the Russians really were.

2 weeks prior to Condi's trip to Isreal to broker a peace between Hezbollah and Isreal, she was asked on 60 minutes; how did you feel when you lost your childhood friend in the Baptist church bombing in Alabama? She replied,"it was just awful". During this visit With Prime Minister Ohmert she entertained him by playing the piano before dinner while Isreali jets were bombing the children in Bierut. What a hypocrit.
Talk about war criminals!

Mr. President: Do you have the courage to call each of the families of the six dead, and explain why you are "waiting till sometime in January" to make changes in Iraq? And how about the families of the "soon to die", while you conduct business as usual? And you Condoleeza, or is the name "Condone-oleeza", The Secretary of State; how do live with yourself, supporting "killing as usual"? Please get some personal help before you destroy the rest of the world!

Mr.President,
Do you have the personal courage to call the families of these six men, and explain why you are waiting until sometime in January to make changes in Iraq? And how will you explain your continued business as usual policy to all the families of the "soon to be dead"? While he waits, real American and Iraqi children DIE!
And to you Secretary of State Rice, is it "Condolsia" or "Condon-alsia"? How can you live with yourself? Please get some personal help before you destroy the rest of the world!

Why can%u2019t we just get out of the way of that? That religious conflict has been going on for centuries. Why should our blood and treasure for the next ten or twenty years be wasted to try and contain it when in the end, it%u2019s going to play itself out based on the religious beliefs of those in that part of the world, NOT OURS.

What is the goal of this war of attrition? What are we going to get out of this? Will we get a free and stable Iraq that will be our partner in the war against terror? Who out there actually believes that? Accept maybe Bush, Cheney, and Condi?

So what is the way forward? How about we stop spending ourselves in blood and treasure into oblivion so that when we are really facing a threat we can defeat it? How 'bout we leave a quick reaction strike force there. Not to drive around getting blown up. But there only to destroy terrorist training camps and give them all the air support they need. We will need troops on the ground to identify targets [not weddings and funerals] but actual camps and any other related military targets.

I really don't think that our %u201Cquick reaction strike teams will be all that busy though because when we leave; the Iraqi's will be too busy waging their civil war and these "terrorists" will be in their way. The "terrorists" will leave and the "insurgents" will turn their raft on their country-men of the opposing religious sects. In fact the %u2018terrorist will then align themselves per their religious sect drawing in Iran and Syria even more.

I'm so mad I could just spit! Are we fighting a war of attrition? I mean if we're fighting a war of attrition let's call it that. If the Iraq's are waging a civil war [two different parties of opposing political views raising arms against each other within the same country] then let's call it that.

So if I understand Bush, by what he has said; that we are there to rid that country of terrorist so that they cannot attack us here at home, right? No Bush... WRONG.... VERY WRONG....!

That argument is too simplistic. First of all Iraq was not a terrorist's wet dream. BUT IT IS NOW, thanks to your simplistic way of thinking. Those who still support Bush or his policies please consider that we are making "the enemy" stronger the longer we are there. They have learned and are still learning how to tactically defeat us. Bush has united our enemies, as well as created new ones; and he%u2019s even provided them a place to get trained. Iraq is a terrorist's wet dream.

According to Pentagon, there are One Thousand attacks on US troops per week meaning four thousands per month and more then one hundred and fourty attacks per day on average.

Then click on the video link under
Islamist videos show bombing in Iraq
After seeing the sophistication of attacks in these videos by an UNSEEN ENEMY in an UNCONVENTIONAL WARFARE with no FRONT LINE,ENEMY DOESN'T WEAR MILITARY UNIFORM,DON'T FOLLOW GENEVA CONVENTION and determined enough to kill himself and his or her family members to harm US troops,it's beomce very evident and clear that the deaths of only three thousands troops by BUSH and HIS CHRISTIAN FELLOWs is based on LIES and FABRICATION just like Iraq's WMDs and SANTA CLAUSE COMING ON A FLYING DEER to distribute candies.
If only one soldier gets killed in those attack(which by the way near to impossible)which doesn't only include ROAD SIDE BOMBS but also consist of SUICIDE CAR BOMBINGS,AMBUSHES,etc;number of US soldiers dying every day is atleast more then One hundred and fourty, every week is One thousand and every month is Four thousands.Hididng the real number of deaths is the main reason, why the name of deceased soildiers are with hold .
After watching the above mentioned link,if any body thinks he or she can give any suggestion to the govt, please do so eventhough I am quite sure BUSH won't listen to anybody.

I could go off on a horribly damning bush rant, but frankly, he damns himself with his policies - so the length of my comment will be about the families who have been desecrated by this war, and their loneliness, worry, fear, and now LOSS of their loved one forever being on their heart. I cannot imagine what that must feel like, as I know what loss of life means to me from medical causes, I hate to imagine what it would feel like from something that could've been avoided.

God have mercy on our country...

A great tragedy at any time. But moreso now. Condolences to the families.

Sadly, it doesnot end here. This is merely another "grim milestone." Other milestones such as the first 1,000 US troop and 2,000 dead, have come and gone. In the first few weeks of 2007 we will reach another "grim milestone" when the 3,000th US service-person will die in Iraq.

Rather than causing this admministration to pause for thought, tragic events are now "milestones", whilst our brave men and women are little more than statistics to be aggregated and collated for reporting purposes.

For this administration it doesnot matter how many die in Iraq, 3,000, 5,000, 10,000 or more. In their reasoning, the end justifies the means. "Iraq is worth the investment." More will be sent and more will die. More milestones will be reached and more statistics will be collated.

Afterall, 58,000 died in Vietnam and that milestone is still some way off.
