Both Say New Iraq Strategy Needed; Blair Tells CBS News He Can See Role For Iran And Syria
- "Whether those people who are VERY RELIGIOUS become PSYCHOTICS or those who are PSYCHOTICS become VERY RELIGIOUS"
Some people use religious nonsense talk as an excuse for their behavior, the behavior being selfish and psychotic. An example is Son of Sam. That which can't be excused by any normal means seems excusable by convoluted religious mysticism, so psychotics are drawn to religious talk and mystic drama.
I would consider a religious person to be the opposite, that is, a person who follows the rules or techniques of the religion, and probably says little about it. - Reply to this comment
- How many so-called 'approaches' are there to "Stay the course"? LOL
This double 'B' of bull (bush-blair) will exhaust every 'approach' ...... and "Stay the course"! LOL - Reply to this comment
- "Perhaps he's really a class sociopath? Incapable of caring about anyone outside of the people in his class?"
In my contacts with Bush's clas, they are all sociopaths in the sense you describe. You are an animal to them, less than an animal, a tool or a piece of matter, to be manipulated or destroyed for their needs.
I don't know why people don't get it. Corporate and wealthy elite really don't believe that middle class ordinary Americans are human; there is a real club mentality I don't know how to describe it. They literally hate America and Americans. You have to experience it for yourself, I guess. Doesn't it show?
We go on endlessly "humanizing" them while they endlessy dehumanize us. Why. - Reply to this comment

BINGO!!! I have had those same thoughts after watching Farenheit 911. The neocons HATE that documentary; they TOTALLY REBUKE IT as left wing propaganda. Only trouble is; NOBOBY STAGED the meetings, hand holding A$$ kissing by Sr. and Cheney and Rumsfeld shown on it, nor did they put the words"Sure, it would be easier if I were a DICTATOR" in Jr.'s mouth! - Reply to this comment
- Support our troops, yes, support Bush and his stupidity,NO!! We can't get a straight answer from this man as to what's really going on. Why did we get rid of Clinton? Oh yeah, he had a *** life, but no one died. I don't understand the logic here. To every single idiot who voted for Bush and support him, I hope you all have enough competence to make a wiser decision in the next election. The next President definately has his work cut out for him cleaning up Bush's s@$&.

- I agree with patriotic9, Bush doesn't care and it is genetic. He's as incapable of caring as the rest of his family is. He's incomplete, the human parts of him are missing. He does not have the mental maturity or the emotional capability to realize that actual human beings are dying and that even Iraqi's are human. He is a sociopath and it this case it does seem to run in his family, from his mother's side. Though I wonder if it's not as much a case of his "class" as blood. Perhaps he's really a class sociopath? Incapable of caring about anyone outside of the people in his class?

- Bush exclaims "it's bad in Iraq."
Wow, that's strong talk.
"Bad", hardly describes the war which only yesterday claimed 11 young Americans.
How about describing it as horrendous, horrific, terrible, sad, very sad, inhumane, dumb, very dumb.
In "W's" case, perhaps "mind numbing" may describe it better.
Jeeez, we're talking young American lives here and billions upon billions of dollars.
What is it about this war that Bush, Rove, Cheney, and the other Bush henchmen don't understand?
This war goes a long way past "bad". - Reply to this comment
- True, WayFedUp. Personally, I think if you want to find Osama, you should look in the guest bedroom at Bush's ranch in Crawford. Those families have been friends and business associates for years. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to learn that Bush & Co. put Bin Laden up to the 9/11 attacks just to have an excuse for their already-existing plans to invade Iraq.

- Can anyone out there tell me the last time they heard George Bush utter Osama Bin Laden's name publicly? the WAR on TERROR is completely a side issue with this administration. The primary adjenda is making Big Oil richer and sweeping Bin Laden under the rug.
