Al-Maliki Says Iraqi Forces Will Be 'Fully Ready' By June, But Bush Rejects Talk Of A Timetable
- (cont.)
Don't be fooled; it all comes down to money and power. That's how it's been throughout history, and people haven't changed much. And throughout history, unfortunately, leaders have wrapped evil and greed in a flag, and people like you have been fooled. It's a shame; I'm sure your heart is in the right place, despite your head being firmly up your *** - Reply to this comment
- Bushrocks, if the so-called attempt to create democracy in Iraq were actually that, it would indeed be noble and highminded. Unfortunately, one doesn't create democracy in another's country at the point of a gun. Like so much evil performed by governments around the world, this came down to money: money for the contractors on whose boards Bush administration officials sat, money gained by control of substantial amounts of oil and the ability to control the price at will (Bush Oil? Saudi buddies? Coincidence? Come on ... )
The US, like all empires (and we are one) is the world's ***. We created/backed Osama to fight the Russians. We created/backed Sadaam to fight the Iranians. Bush doesn't give a *** about freedom, either here or at home; he's demonstrated that over and over. What he does care about is keeping the oligarchy running our country stinking rich while keeping the population they are supposed to serve distracted.
And the Democrats are little better. But the traitors have had the high ground for a while now; those traitors who have so far murdered 3000 Americans and who knows how many Iraqis for the sole purpose of lining their pockets. - Reply to this comment
- Bin Laden people could never ever be able to Hijack and crash planes in the buildings if Osama didn't get WEAPONS,MONEY and MILITARY TRAINING from REAGAN ADMINISTRATION at the first place. We are repeating the same mistake in IRAQ where we are giving weapons and military training to those ISLAMIC RADICALS being elected by Radical Iraqis to form an Islamic govt.I care about people of United States and American interest not about Iraqis or kuwaitees.Everybody comes later.Americans and United States come first.People of United States pay tax to United States Govt not kuwaitis or iraqis. In the Middle East people care about their Religious affiliations more then anything else.I don't want my tax dollars to be used for them to build an EXTREMIST ISLAMIC STATE based on the HATRED of west and used against us and our soldiers.

- Gotta love these wack job conspiracy theorists... yes yes - Christians are the evil ones, Saddam was fighting the good fight, establishing democracy in Iraq is the perfect recipe for an Islamic Radical State, and they're secretly orchestrating this... the very fact that YOU oppose this war tells me we're onto something... now go wrap some tin foil around your head buddy & await the mother ship - lay off the caps too while you're at it...

- Oh please, do you think the US trained Bin Laden how to hijack planes & crash them into buildings? Ya think maybe he'd have figured that one out on his own? Ya think NOT extraditing Bin Laden when they had him in cuffs, lobbing a couple random missiles in his general direction, fighting the idea of assassinations, massive defense & intelligence budget cuts, lack of response to prior terrorist attacks, and the emboldening Somalia debacle maaaybe had something to do with it? Ya think French & German leaders love us? No? Well THEY'RE not attacking us with planes. Interesting description of Sadaam, although I'm not sure Iraqi women, those who "voted" him in as president, or the nation of Kuwait would find your words very all-inclusive of what he represented. You ARE right to say that Liberals are not the ones causing the suffering we are going thru right now - but they WILL be largely responsible if their mission to fail in Iraq is successful - and as a result, America has to face far more grave consequences in the future.

What is that successful mission in IRAQ?It seems like you don't even have a little bit of understanding about the MIDDLE EAST.
Why don't you try to understand that a RADICAL ISLIMIC EXTREMIST named MALIKI has been brough to power by our TAX DOLLARS to form an EXTREMIST ISLAMIC STATE ruled under the commands of those AYATOLLAHs who call us the GREATEST SATAN so that they help the second coming of their FINAL IMAM MEHDI who according to their religious belief will kill all the JEWS,CHRISTIANS and UNBELIEVERS around the world and form an ISLAMIC CALIPHATE.The killing of a CHRISTIAN LEADER in LEBANON is the second step in that effort, the first was to remove a SECULAR SADDAM form power who was resisting against those ISLAMIC RADICALS(Thanks to BUSH and his supporters like YOU).Don't you know about the weapons given to Iraqi security force being missing and how well equipped HEZBOLLAH was during the fight this year.Haven't you heard the news about Sadr militia being trained by HEZBOLLAH.
Conservative CHRISTIANS are much better in those CHURCHES where they SEXUALLY MOLEST and SODOMIZE young little boys in the same churhes where they call HOMOSEXUALITY a SIN rather then coming into politics and screw up the whole country. - Reply to this comment
- All the suffering we are going through is not because of liberals but because of lack of understanding the world outside USA by the conservatives.Democracy means govt of the people.Does any body think that people in the MIDDLE EAST will elect a west loving liberal instead of a RELIGIOUS RADICAL.I don't know when will those people wake up who have already seen election results in the favor of HAMAS and MALIKI.
There is no doubt that supporting OSAMA BEEN FORGOTTEN with MONEY,WEAPON and MILITARY TRAINING was the biggest mistake anybody could ever do.If somebody doesn't remember 9/11,we can't do anything about a person with such a short term memory.
People are not good or bad, their actions are good or bad.Do you really like Bush's action of removing a SECULAR PRESIDENT whose FOREING MINISTER was a CATHOLIC and who had females in his cabinet and bring a RADICAL SHIA into power to form an EXTREMIST ISLAMIC EMPIRE from IRAN in the EAST to LEBANON in the WEST by the US TAX DOLLARS and U.S soldier's lives? - Reply to this comment
- Think Turkey is right - a stable, democratic, self governing, successful Iraq spells trouble for Islamic Radicalism. The polar opposite situation, the Taliban in Afghanistan, was THE hotbed - in fact, the HQ for groups like Al Queda. Islamic radicals know it - that's why they're throwing everything including the kitchen sink to stop it. What has democracy brought to nations like Turkey, India, Japan, Germany, and others??? What might a democratic Iraq bring to the Middle East region in the long term? What long-term implications might that have on the terror threat to America?
And really... the whole, "hey, we armed Osama & helped him fight the Russians" thing just shows a total lack of understanding... in this nasty business, you don't necessarily have to be friends with the guy with whom you join forces against a common foe - I'm sure Osama's people are smart enough to see that on HIS end - wish I could say the same for some of the folks here. And ON that note, frankly - it seems to ME that liberals & Al Queda share a common enemy in Bush, and have effectively joined forces to demoralize America against a successful mission in Iraq - liberals want Bush to fail so they can tout it come election time, Al Queda wants Bush to fail for the reasons stated above... doesn't mean liberals & Al Queda LIKE eachother - they just both hate Bush, and will be killing eachother some time down the road. - Reply to this comment

- "bushrocks1" is as out of touch as the complete idiots that put us in the war in Iraq.
"An attempt to establish democracy in the Middle East"
Bushrocks1, what is Israel? It is in the Middle East, is it not a democracy?
"They may not succeed, for reasons outside their control or fault: traitors on the home front being a big one."
First of all the Bush Administration new plenty about what was going to happen if we went to war with Iraq, and with that knowledge what did they do? They sent way to few troops to begin with. When the majority of US war planners said it would take 300,000 to 400,000 troops, we sent only 140,000. Also, when it was time for diplomacy to get support from the world, our President and the most cursory and secretive administration in history took a bullies stance and ignored the opinions of many of our allies.
See, the fools wanting this war in Iraq needed it to begin quickly for POLITICAL REASONS ONLY. If we did not rush into going to war then the dissent in America (which is about half of us, "traitors") would have actually had a voice, and the war in Iraq might have never come to pass.
I WANT FAMILY OF MINE TO COME HOME ALIVE FROM IRAQ. I NEVER WANT CURSORY LEADERS PUTTING MY FAMILIY IN HARMS WAY, WHEN I DON'T KNOW WHY OR FOR DISPUTED REASONS.
Shame on Republicans for their lack of imagination, their poor performance as leaders and their willful ignorance when adapting policies that effect the lives of every American. - Reply to this comment

It's the 2nd time when RADICAL CHRISTIANS from UNITED STATES have helped their RADICAL MUSLIM BROTHERS in their effort to radicalise the world.First time was when REAGAN administration had given MILITARY TRAINING,WEAPONS and MONEY to OSAMA BEEN FORGOTTEN which he ultimately used against United States on 9/11.
I am sorry to say but the currnet events show it very clearly we AMERICANS don't have enough mental capabilities to deal with the ISLAMIC RADICALS.Only people who could do that job were RUSSIANS who were defeated by those ISLAMIC RADICALS in AFGHANISTAN by the help of UNITED STATES. - Reply to this comment

Maliki obviously cares more about sectarian matters than peace. King Abdullah cares about peace, Maliki does not. - Reply to this comment
