- Well, in case YOU hadn't noticed Mercodele, the place was a bloody frigging nightmare before we got there. Or do you condone executing women for entertainment in soccor stadiums?

- If you're saying that U. S. troops should be present everywhere in the world where evil doers might fill a vacuum, I'm afraid that's called imperialism.

- Belall:
You asked how I would respond to 9/11. I replied.
Then you turned that into my letting Taliban training camps remain. I replied.
Now you dig up an old post and claim it was that you were referring to with 'babble' and now I've replied.
"So consumed with contempt?" Absolutely - for radical right wing nut job war mongerers like you who cheer as other people's sons die but never seem to send your own. - Reply to this comment
- mercodele, Given that scenario what in the world would have prevented another Taliban or something similar to take over and fill the vacuume?

- How ironic that the so called pro-life vote put a man into office who started two wars and caused over a hundred thousand deaths, including almost 3,000 of our own soldiers.
He's not going to "pre-judge?" He can't judge period. That's the point W.

This is the babbling I'm talking about. It offers nothing only criticism. You are so consumed with contempt you can't see straight. - Reply to this comment
- And you can bomb the Taliban training camps using science, technology, radar, satellites, and of course bombs, without putting U.S. soldiers on the ground.
Why are the neocons always so anxious to send other people's kids to war, but never their own? - Reply to this comment
- Well Bellal, in case you haven't read todays news, Afghanistan is total bloody choas.
Nice what your folks did. - Reply to this comment
- Not cutting and running. cutting and working. So you would have left the terrorists camps intact and the brutal Taliban in power. nice.

- Well Bellall, since you asked. I would have chosen a path of covert intelligence to get to the few terrorists - instead of obliterating the infrastructures of two countries, killing thousand of innocent civilians. It was YOUR BOYS in charge of national security on 9/11 - they didn't do a very good job, did they? - and they completely ignored a bi-partisan report warning of the attacks, so I doubt if 'intelligence' was considered as a response. Instead, they gushed over Texas defense contracts, gushed Halliburton into Iraq where we pay them to rebuild what we already paid to destroy. So I doubt if this group of arrogant war mongers could consider that they had been tricked into war in the middle east by a bunch of crazy men in turbins. As for my babbling, if you don't like it, stay away. Like most neocons, it seems that only your opinion is allowed. Those days are over. Your boys lost, your attitude lost, your arrogance lost, your arguments lost, and you can babble all you want.
So can I. - Reply to this comment

How about INVESTIGATION into those responsible instead of blindly lashing out and hitting the nearest target, one which had NO wmd, and had nothing whatsoever to do with 9/11 and even Bush's own committee has said this. - Reply to this comment
- Shutupmurtha wrote . Second it doesnt matter what happened hundreds of years ago...what matters is what Christian and Muslims are doing today. "
Tell THAT to all those DEAD people that it doesn't matter what happened back then! I am showing that violence and death is NOT confined to one religion and that Christianity is NOT the peace and love thy neighbor entity people seem to think it's been- it was founded in violence, the entire bible is chock full of violence, death, blood, animal sacrifices and worse.
It was only a few years ago that the Sunday "Blue laws" existed- you could be fined and jailed for opening a business on SUNDAY- the "lords" day, even if you were NOT christian and didn't observe christian holidays.
And also not long ago laws on the books still against "Heresy" and using the lords name in vein- the church and it's DIRTY violent history has infiltrated every aspect of life in the US- you'd better do a little more in-depth historical research and learn the truth- can a leopard change it's spots?
Did not the church get embattled in a huge number of lawsuits and bankrupts over their PROTECTINGT pedo priests?
Have you ever seen the massive valuable art collection at the Vatican? While people starved they have have this huge collection of untold riches. - Reply to this comment
- To the idiot who said "Our medling caused 9/11"
We had an alliance with Saudi Arabia, we came to their defense, hence the Gulf War. Our defense of an ally is what caused us to "violate holy ground" or whatever gibbrish Bin Laden claimed.
He was turned down by the Saudis...humiliated, he declared a Jihad on the U.S. & friends
Hence 9/11 and the first attacks on the trade centers.
How gay is that? - Reply to this comment

- Our UNWANTED meddling, bullying and blackmail is what finally caused 9/11 and since we continue doing the things and policies that caused that, we WILL have another 9/11 with certainty, so stock up on food, water and get ready because GW BUSH and his regime are not going to be able to protect you, and you can be *** sure Haliburton isn't going to EITHER- the CEO's are enjoying a comfy paradise with more money than they can dream about thanks to BUSH.

- shutuopmurtha: there, go READ about the Christian violence, slaughtering of Muslims, Jews and other "heretics" during the reformation, crusades, inquisition- it's all there in Google if you know how to READ. MY how quickly people forget or overlook all that death destruction and violence from CHRISTIANS.
Back then if you dared challenge church teachings, like doubting the earth is flat or that the universe does NOT revolve around the earth- you were EXECUTED as a "heretic"- hung, burned at the stake or beheaded.
Looks to me like the Muslims are at the point in their history where CHRISTIANS were in the days of the reformations, so to say that ONLY Muslims are violent and behead people is ignorant of the historical FACTS which can be verified.
Fact remains today bro- the Repubic-CONS lost the election, Bush is now at a 31% approval rating- this all says the PEOPLE in this country are sick of the LIES, DISTORTIONS, COVERUPS, the good old boy network, crooks and a president who can't seem to focus on OUR problems.
OBL has stated many times on video WHY he ordered 9/11 and it was due to what WE have done over there for years with Israel, Palestine, Afghanistan and caring more about those Afghan statues in the mountain than giving food to the people living there. - Reply to this comment
