The NCAA has stepped up to the plate on this one. Their ruling has sent a clear message to football programs across the nation. Turning a blind eye to sex abuse is not to be tolerated under any circumstance. Thank you to the new president at Penn State for commissioning the investigation and to the NCAA for responding with such a clear message.
Huge mistake on PSU part to let Freeh run around and put out his report..better for them to have let the normal judicial process play out... Sanctions would have been far less severe, the guilty fired or on trial, and the reputation less damaged. Lesson learned dont be to open in cases like this.
