It's very disingenuous (and self serving) for Dr. Michael Welner not to mention the use of anti depressants and other psychiatric drugs as a cause. I found it very disturbing listening to a TV quack who wants to broad brush all mass shooting as due to some Freudian sexual agenda; and this is the cause and effect for these mad men. I could not believe this guy, and wonder why he was chosen for the interview. Has he treated these people before? Incidentally, much of the Freudian fallacies he blathered on about, linking sexual repression to psychosis have been largely discredited! As a society, we must prevent the media from continuously mentioning the name and producing the picture of the low lives who commit these atrocities, which I believe some do so to get known. I understand the news must be reported, but I think only up to 24hrs. I think this loser saw the groupies and the cover that sicko Luka M. got and wanted the same publicity the media gave him and attention. He knew also the attention he'd get by booby trapping his apartment after getting caught. That is why unlike most that do this type of crime who take there own lives, he wore armor and gave up to later enjoy the attention he knew he'd got and has now gotten by being all over the news 24/7 since it happened. All losers now want to do this to live and bathe in there glory. Put the attention of the media on the heroes like soldiers and the real people who deserve it, not these losers..... What is wrong with society when all these resources are expended on these losers, yet all the good that happens is ignored. He planned it all for max media attention, so he thanks you the media for helping create these new celebrities.....I thought the Kardashians were the low point till now!!
Has anybody thought that this may have to do with the research he was conducting? He's a neuroscientist. Perhaps he was working on a Defense Department nerve agent that went array. Maybe he was affected and began to go psychotic?
Imagine something that would drive enemy agents to turn on their own and massacre them? Holmes precipitously gave up a promising career in mid-stream. Was he infected with some nefarious nerve potion? Maybe there is more here than meets the eye.
