- Jay, if Papa Joe KNEW about the incidents the ONLY question he needed to ask himself to arrive at a logical conclusion would be "If Jerry and I did not know each other would I allow him to watch my own sons or take them camping, etc." We all know the answer to that, Coach would NOT have allowed you boys to spend any appreciable time with that pedophile. It is NEVER acceptable to abuse someone(especially a child) who cannot defend themselves out of fear, coercion or bribery. This is just messed up. I don't care how committed I would be as a loyal Nittany Lion, if one of those boys were mine and I knew about it; there would be nationwide search and rescue for Jerry because I would be chasing his butt all over the country trying to mess him up real bad.

- If Paterno hadn't hesitated, just to protect the University's name, it would have been Sandusky's problem only. There's no shame in reporting a child molester.

- Jay I'm glad you love your father but sometimes it's better just to say that my Dad may have made mistakes and if he did all live with that because he's the only father I had an he was a good father.
