If that is the case, they made an excellent choice since one of them is borderline obese, one of them looks normal, and one of them looks like she works out regularly. 30% of American teens are obese and 60% of them don't get enough exercise.
I really think these sctivists have the wrong idea. Yes, superthin models with bulimia and anorexia are bad. But eating fries till you look like your pregnant is also bad. Teen magazines should not be showing EITHER archetype.
Is it too much to ask that the models used in teen magazines be chosen from healthy teens who run regularly?
