God love Chris' parents. I guess it's always difficult to admit to yourself that your child could have done something so horrendous...denial sometimes keeps people going. They have an amazing ability to ignore the overwhelming evidence against their son and rationalize it all away.
Regarding Chris, I found it very telling that, in Maureen's interview with him at the very end of the episode, when asked how he could love his wife and yet have an affair, he justified this by saying "perhaps I selfishly wasn't getting what I felt I should be getting at home with my wife." Blaming his wife for his affair, even after her death. Real classy guy. It shows that he obviously had some hostility toward his wife.
As for the jurors voting 7-5 to acquit on the first day of deliberations, I don't understand why the fact that Chris lied about the date his affair began suddenly swayed their decision. Chris lied repeatedly to detectives during his interrogation. Why did the jury feel that this was so insignificant and yet the date on the back of a photo was a game changer? Sometimes I wonder about juries in this country. Fortunately they made the correct decision. I hope Chris stays behind bars for the remainder of his life.
When you hate Phil Mickelson, it may feel like even the little things become major victories. Fortunately, there's a pill for that - PHILOXACALM.
PHILOXACALM can lower the ability of your immune system to fight infections. Serious infections have happened in patients taking PHILOXACALM. These infections include tuberculosis (TB) and infections caused by viruses, fungi, or bacteria that have spread throughout the body. Some patients have died from these infections. Your doctor should test you for TB before you take PHILOXACALM and monitor you closely for TB before, during, and after PHILOXACALM treatment, even if you have tested negative for TB.
There have been some cases of unusual cancers reported in children and teenage patients who started using tumor necrosis factor (TNF) blockers before 18 years of age. Also, for children, teenagers, and adults taking TNF blockers, including PHILOXACALM, the chances of getting lymphoma or other cancers may increase. Patients with RA or psoriasis may be more likely to get lymphoma.
Before starting PHILOXACALM, tell your doctor if you think you have, are being treated for, have signs of, or are prone to infection. You should not start taking PHILOXACALM if you have any kind of infection, have any open cuts or sores, have diabetes, HIV, or a weak immune system, have TB or have been in close contact with someone who has had TB, were born in, lived in, or traveled to countries where there is more risk for getting TB, or if you have, have had, or develop a serious nervous disorder, seizures, any numbness or tingling, or a disease that affects your nervous system. Also tell you doctor if you have or have had hepatitis B, develop symptoms such as persistent fever, bruising, bleeding, or paleness while taking PHILOXACALM.
Ask your doctor if PHILOXACALM is right for you. You might find that, after taking PHILOXACALM, it's the little things that mean the most.
His wife was a bombshell compared to his "mistress"!! What a shame, and what a waste of life. He's definitely not too torn up about the deaths which goes to show that some people have a long way to go with it comes to the true "Christ" energy. I don't think that forgiveness can serve true justice for what really happens on this planet, though it is still important to continue to go on...
When I hear of a family being murdered by their father/husband and pictures of the headstone is shown, it really really bothers me when I see the husband's last name on it. If she were my daughter, I would fight to the death not to put her husbands name on that stone!
I just can not comprehend how any man can kill his entire family, especially those poor innocent babies, and not have any remorse. I can't wrap my head around that. I don't know any of these family members, but my heart just breaks for them. I can't blame the lady who said she can't forgive him, Christian or not, I would never ever forgive the person who murdered my daughter and her children.
Her so called "best friend" should be ashamed of herself for having an affair with her best friend's husband. I hope this eats her up until the day her life ends!!! I believe she should also be sued by the family, along with that Joyce Meyers lady. If they would have investigated those emails, they would have found out where they were coming from. They didn't care, it was all about the money.
Of course Joyce Meyers had the emails investigated. That is why she had a security detail. And who would be in charge of that investigation? Exactly.
There are no reasonable grounds to sue Meyers or the best friend. If your rationale is that they should have seen this coming, then the wife was in an even better position to do so. Do you want to blame her too?
The only person responsible for this unspeakable act is, thankfully, in prison where he belongs.
What is especially sad is that the deaths were completely preventable. Repeated threats from the computer...if those had been looked into thoroughly they would have discovered the source and once that was discovered the deaths wouldn't have happened.
Another thing...anyone doubting his guilt at all just needs to listen to the end where she is interviewing him on the phone and he chuckles and talks about forgiving the person and moving on. No person who had that happen, religious or not, is going to chuckle or say that when supposedly they still don't know who did it and it was such a heinous crime.
That's a classic give away, call someone else and make them discover the crime, so that way the guilty party looks so innocent. He is such an idiot and his parents are a piece of work. I understand that you should be in your child's corner, but sometimes you have to face the reality of what they did, and face the truth. I think that Sheri's family is wrong for suing Joyce Meyers. Oh yeah, people who commit murder this day and age, should really watch CSI, The first 48 hours, or any crime show. They can see how the person is caught, which is usually a small detail that the person never did consider.
I think this religious man is very, very narcissistic. He thinks he's above the law and he's smarter then everyone else. He's entitled to whatever he wants because he's so special no matter how he has to get it. His parents are his biggest enablers and supporters. He just figured he'll kill them now and ask god to forgive later. Then he's all set. It doesn't work that way in the courts *******. I am a Christian, but not in a religion. I do believe that we need to forgive people for their crimes. Maybe it's a sicknesses. Like narcissism, and psychopathy.BUT I AM IN NO WAY READY TO FORGIVE THESE KINDS OF CRIMINAL AND LEAVE IT UP TO HIM AND GOD.
ALSO NOTICE HOW HIS PARENTS TURN THEIR NOSES UP AT THE THOUGHT OF HIM WRITING A LOVE LETTER.' OH, MY SON, WOULD NEVER. HE'S TO SERIOUS OF A MAN" IF THE INTERVIEWER ASKED....DO YOU THINK YOUR SON WOULD TAKE NUDE PICTURES OF HIMSELF AND POST THEM FOR ANOTHER WOMAN TO SEE. WHAT WOULD THEY SAY TO THAT?? i WISH THAT QUESTION CAME IN. 'GOODNESS NO, MY SON WOULD NEVER SHOW HIS ***** TO ANYONE, UNLESS IT WERE A DOCTOR. WE TAUGHT HIM TO NEVER EXPOSE HIMSELF. HIS HEAD IS AS BIG AS A PLANET, LITERATELY. THE STUCK UP *****. HE'LL SPEND HIS LIFE ON HIS KNEES NOW AND WE KNOW HE'S NOT PRAYING....
