Well the son asked the father to write a letter explaining to the daughter why he would not be there to walk her down the aisle, daughter upon hearing the news that father is dead "I'm going back to bed". The only reason his family did not do it was to enjoy the spoils. But they knew what he was about to do and no one said Honey or daddy don't. With such a loving family, I pray he had no enemies.

As evidenced by the son's email, the family willingly embraces this plan to let a father and husband take his own life so that they can live a life in luxury and comfort. That is - by far - the worst part of this story.

I can understand a man willing to make this kind of sacrifice for his family, but I can't understand a family that is willing to let him do this for simply for the sake of financial gain. What kind of happiness can such a sacrifice buy for their lives in the long run?

I hope no insurance company has paid or will pay a dime to this family.

This is just wrong. Had Minor had world class lawyers, he would have been free as 6' crow.

EXACTLY!!!!!!! What happened to REASONABLE DOUBT in this world with Jurors. There was plenty of that; as in many cases, but the Jury's these days don't seem to be thinking about that!!!

Mr Locker was dealing with a tough situation in his life and handled it like a weak coward. He was drained of all motivation because he used up all of his on helping others. That good karma came back to him when the 1st "Con-man" had robbed a financially distraught man in need of a good friend and non biased voice. Both men had a chance to make a real difference in a fellow citizens life and chose not to care or show any real compassion. Minor sadly agreed to participate and Locker knew Minor would be caught and prosecuted but at that point didn't care either since he was just robbed and taken advantage of by th'OG. Just doesn't make sense for Minor to agree on helping and then bust him out like that knowing collecting the insurance was part of the deal. I'm sorry, but that's why you're in jail Minor. May the lord have mercy on your soul, you have a unique story Minor. There's still hope for you Minor, learn from this and don't give up. This is a "Pay it forward story" ~ God help the Locker family as well, you should all be VERY ashamed of yourselves ~ Could this be enough to stop insuring lives for millions of $$$ ~ Last I checked a funeral doesn't cost 12+million dollars. Who's controlling the finances in America?????? ~ FIRE them X(

This story sounds like it was made up by the insurance companies to get out of paying the millions in claims.

1/4 Americans believe in Reincarnation. Jews believe that we come back over 300 tines. If you truely believe, why would you cry? His life is more than half-way over. He has lived out all of his dreams. If you believe you will come back as one of your grandchildren why would you cry? The whole family knowingly planned and said their goodbyes. It is what he taught. It is what he was taught and shared. We all grieve in our own way. If you truly believe, why grieve? Insuranse companies rip off people all the time. This time they got stiffed on all but 4K. Clearly they paid out and did not want to set a precident. If they had not paid out they would be speaking.

So the entire family said their goodbyes and when the cops came were not surprised in the least. Cold? Is it cold to believe in your religion that life was a cycle and that this was part of it? Why go to court to hear the details of the death when they are celebrating his transition to the other side. The walking down the isle was an added touch. The brother clearly wanted no unfinished business. They worked together as a family.

Many Eastern European women sell their kidneys to get to the US. All models have the telltale kidney scar. You do what you have to do so your family might live a good life. This is what they chose to do. Many men have died in useless stupid wars for the war money recently. The first time 30K the second time you go 60K and the third 120K. They go to war for the money. This guy killed himself for the money for his family. eh.

Somebody has got to do it, it could be Minor or someone else. It is a fact that Locker wanted to be killed. Locker found an opportunity by exploiting Minor's addiction. Now, to take somebody down with him doesn't seem to be fair. What has the society got by locking an unlucky willing bystander by locking him up for a long time? Not practical. Everyone's taxes will be paying for his existence inside. Locker is the mastermind.

On the other hand, if the conviction is less than murder, then suicide will be a cause for the insurance company to deny payment. The jury had compassion for the Lockers by granting his wish- make it legally murder by convicting Minor of the crime. Poor Minor, he's the ultimate victim.

Who cares if the insurance companies don't pay?? And the family doesn't deserve compassion!! I think this case blew the jury's mind and they didn't have enough options. Minor should have been offered a plea, and/or the jury should have been offered the option of manslaughter or something like it.

I believe that Minor's heart was genuinely touched by Locker's BS story, and he fell for it. I don't even have a huge problem with Minor accepting money for what he did. I do, however, have a huge problem with Locker's family. How is what they did any different from what Minor did? The only difference is that they didn't get their hands dirty.

Minor killed Locker for money. Locker did it ...for the LOVE of his family..and HIS family did it ...for the LOVE of money...And maybe he knew that.. His loving family.. LOVE money ..more than loved him? ,that is why?..he wanted to end his dysfunctional loving life. If MINOR did it without taking a penny...I would say...he help Locker to committed a swindle against insurance company...but killing is still killing. Minor - murder for hire = GUILTY. Locker - swindler = GUILTY Locker's family -greedy,dysfunctional,rotten,without conscience = GUILTY
