And, so does the ex-wife who just happened to be sleeping with ron the night after his deceased wife is in the morgue. What losers. This is a case of a man who can not be alone and hops from woman to woman as well.
The son, Jonathon, knows more than he is saying. He doesn't look directly at Mr. Van Zant when he answers questions. The father knows more too, he has weird answers. "Good-bye sex?" Really? I don't believe that. He showed no emotions. Jonathon doesn't appear to be believable and smirks at the questions. The father doesn't remember if his ex-wife slept with him or not? Karma will win out. If Jonathon or his father killed Rhonda, the other could be guilty of helping to cover up the crime. Who covered Rhonda with the blanket and who doesn't know which hand their spouse uses? This family is vile and sneaky. They are both guilty and they know it.
As I watch this story I get so upset at people. Even if this Father and Son are not quilty where is their compassion.. They are thinking of suing the mother for wanting to find out the truth about her daughter. Too bad they can't be more caring and say they understand how she feels. The Father said she doesn't even know us. Really!!!! he was married to her daughter. Maybe had he acted different and more caring she would have seen him different. Also what the heck is Goodbye Sex... Really if a relationship is over that would only confuse the person who is being dumped. If he was really that caring of a person then why not say hey look its over and you are going back to your mothers home tomorrow. I will go sleep in a hotel. Take your sons it's only one. Then if she still ended up the same way then you would know for sure she was troubled. Anyway quilty or innocent.. Only God and they know for sure.

@ realhistory - Those bums investigating Arturo Gatti's death are no different than high priced defense lawyers that try to match clue's to fit their own theory (rather than the actual truth). If Barb was going to turn to outside help, I would contact the Vidocq Society located in Philadelphia. They are a crime solving think-tank of professionals that specialize in cold cases. Unlike a regular P.I., their opinion is respected and carries some actual weight when presented to the district attorney.
The mother should consider compiling whatever evidence and facts of the case she has, police testimony, inquest verdict, as well as a petition to have the case tried, and submit her plea to the Governor of the State of Washington. Unless of course he is a corrupt lazy bum, like the police department and District Attorney involved with the case.
Dispite evidence being lost or destroyed, there are many witnesses (including several police officers) that can testify to what was observed at the crime scene, as well as tracking Ronda's movements and perceived frame of mind in days prior to her death. This case is solved...it's just a matter of gathering all the pieces and submitting them to a jury.
