The prosecutor wanted two for the price of one. The prosecutor knew Anthony Graves was innocent, but he wanted another black man killed too. The prosecutor should have been jailed for obstructing justice.

Anthony should have gotten the 1.4 million, and then some.

Imagine how many innocent people that criminal Sebesta conspired to have put to death. I am amazed that the American justice system haven't indicted him as yet. He had a man's life on the line with less evidence that what it would take to prosecute him (Sebesta). I am sure that the criminal will continue in the system he perverted for so long. Maybe he is not smart enough to win a case fairly

This is truly horrifying case. I don't know how Sebesta can live with himself. What an awful, awful man. I hope karma comes back to give him exactly what he deserves. I applaud Mr. Graves for being so understanding and forgiving. Just watching this, I am beyond words angry at the injustice that was done to him. Not only did he lose out on 18 years of his life, but all of his family also lost out on that time. His children had to grow up without their father.
I too applaud the lady prosecutor. She wasn't just trying to win another case. She actually wanted to see justice done. They way it should be!

I wept when I saw the reunion of Mr. Graves and his family. I cannot imagine the sadness, fear, and helplessness that they must have felt for all those years. I don't want murderers out on the street, but my God Texas! How many innocent men have you put to death? One innocent man executed is one too many. It seems that too many people don't really care, because it doesn't affect them--they are good, law-abiding citizens. Well so was Mr. Graves and look what happened to him.

Texas should have paid Mr. Graves $1 million per year he spent in prison/jail. He should sue that blood-thirsty state for whatever he can. Why, in this day and age of DNA evidence, is ANYONE convicted of capital punishment without that absolute necessary? How many other innocent people have died wrongfully because an amoral or egotistical prosecutor, maybe a racist as well, has fit the circumstances or questionable words of a sociopath to convict someone as a career move? Unbelievable that a man could be sent to death row on such flimsy and dubious "evidence".

I do commend the woman prosecutor, forgot her name, for the morality to say, with Texan egg on her face, that in good conscience she couldn't convict an obviously innocent man.

This has to be the most ludicrous case of injustice I have ever had the displeasure to see. Any prosecutor should face the same sentence as the accused in a case such as this...if a man walks free because he is innocent, and the prosecutor knowingly and willingly manipulates and misrepresents the case....NO ONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO STEAL 18 YEARS FROM A MANS LIFE...and we haven't even touched on what this did to his family. His Mother and his own children that he was ripped away from. This story will give me nightmares!!!!

It is so hard to wrap ones mind around the fact how this man was ever convicted. It is awesome that the group of young people and their teacher were able to bring this man to be released from a crime he never committed. How would one deal with such a awful situation. Graves had a graciousness about him to ever get through all of this. I know it had to had been the prayers holding this man in all that he went through.
