- Corporations have to answer to shareholders, customers, and employees, and yes, governments. Bureaucrats seem to answer to no one. I'm much more comfortable with corporate power. Corporations don't vote, people do. Those who claim to fear corporations are under the sad delusion that people are too stupid to watch ads and political comments, and make up their own minds about issues before voting. The progressive elite believe only they are smart and altruistic enough to make choices for the rest of us. They drink too much kool-ade.
