Thank you for serving our country. I was watching your story tonight and decided to write this in hope that it can help you.
I never served in the military, but I was injured on the job 6years ago with knee/leg/back injuries. Many surgeries, many struggles. I have not lost my limbs but I have a daily struggle with them. I do not know your pain but, I do know what it is to be disabled. I suffer from depression, I drank, I was mad. Then, slowly one day at a time I let my disability be and I found I had more than one talent on this earth. I was before, a spunky girly Chef boss. Now Im an online student and I make really silly soap and candles online. Im 38 and I am taking this one day at time. When I fall, I cry. When I can't walk, I get down. When I want to give up I make myself get into the kitchen and I do whatever it takes to make me laugh.
I wish you all the smiles for your days ahead and to know that you make a difference in this world. You will never be alone. You matter and I will say a pray for you everyday until you believe that to. Again, I do not know your sorrow nor can I relate I just can be a fellow disabled person who can offer a thank you and hopefully a smile.
I want to thank you for the sacrifice you made to keep our country safe.
It was mentioned at the end of this piece that you willl never be free.
I want to encourage you that thier is freedom found through the grace of Jesus. I am praying for you that you will comprehend His love for you and find freedom in Him. There is hope! My heart goes out to you and much more God's heart.
Many Blessings to you in the days to come!
