- Diversity in the United States, particularly in the South is misunderstood. It is not only about color but the definition has expanded to include regional differences, national differences and international differences. As entrepreneurs and hiring managers and CEO's we need to be willing to appreciate and accept the creativity different people bring to any environment. Patrick Lencioni's book "The Three Signs of a Miserable Job" is an interesting read.
