I absolutely love Adele! A day doesn't go by that I don't listen to her CD. I have introduced her music to nearly everyone I speak to. Not only does her music speak volumes but her personality as well. She still seems down to earth and very real about who she is. I hope that she doesn't change.
Even my 3 year old son can play the first verse of "Rumor Has It," on his drums. That's his favorite Adele song and learned to play just by listening to it and did it all by himself! :)
Much love Adele, continue to stay fresh, healthy, brillant and talented. :)

For Christmas I gave the DVD of her Royal Albert Hall concert to my 93 yr old grandmother, my 70 yr old mother, my 50 yr old sister, my 22 yr old niece and each of them just loved it. How many artists can span the generations like that? This girl is just pure talent...just give her a microphone and a good song. She is just lovely.

Adele is fabulous! She is such a refreshing change from the oober-coreographed performances of the likes of Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj. How nice to have a singer just stand still and sing. Adele is about the voice and the message of her song. You go girl!!!!

I just don't get her. I guess I'm just hot hip and up-to-date enough to appreciate these "edgy" singers. Give me the Spice Girls any day, or Joanie Summers singing "Come Alive, You're in the Pepsi Generation".

Her sound is more reminiscent of a different era, so you don't need to be "up-to-date", you just need to have an appreciation for quality and a forceful conveyance of emotion. Spice Girls? Industrial pre-fabricated pop.

That's a part of the attraction. She's not hip, up-to-date, or edgy (i.e phony). She just sings, she's the show, not a bunch of choreography set to music.

Brilliant, human, fresh, and I just hope NOTHING changes her. This generations Dusty Springfield, and just a ballsy broad. LOVE her!
