Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't her room mate say that she left her cell phone at home? So how did they find her cell phone with her purse and her clothes if she left it at home? And how did the "Dr." get her families numbers? and why was he calling, wasn't her clothing was found right behind his house?
wrong victim. Listen to the story it was victim # 3 who left without her purse or phone. Shannon went with a driver. Good question about the doctor though. Remember shannon called police from the John's house and ran.
Dormer NEEDS to get fired. Because the U.S is quite an embarrasment to the world in term of crime rate. Now I see a reason why that is so. A police department that holds no consideration on prostitutes being preyed on, and respected as a human being, are a turn point for the civilians in NY. I bet Dormer is NOT capable to solve this case. And If so, he would probably need someone elses comment on it, or that it would take 10 years.
These jokes who call themselves police officers--or maybe it was just Dormer--have pronounced that all of the dead people found were sex workers, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVEN'T IDENTIFIED MORE THEN HALF OF THE BODIES. They exclude Shannon Gilbert from the list of people killed by the so-called "Long Island Serial Killer" because Dormer says she drowned even though they only found skeletal remains. What is going on in Suffolk County? I say revoke that idiot's pension. There wouldn't be so many bodies out there on Gilgo Beach if he'd been doing his job.
I agree! Did he forget that they found the remains of a young child too!! Does he think he/she was an escort too??? What an idiot. And there was a body of a man too.
Does anyone know how much Dormer made when he was police commissioner? What was his salary? What kind of pension is he going to be pulling down? I've heard it's really high. I watched this episode again with my brother who's a cop, and we sat there cussing at the screen. Dormer is either the dumbest cop I've ever heard of or he's dirty. So tired of corruption in this country. People who try to do something about it, like the man who worked for him and served our country, get docked pay, and this chucklehead gets "retired"--WHEN HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED--so he can get his fat pension. All I have to say is, the fish rots from the head. The fish rots from the head.
Check out what happened to the cops who worked for him when "retired" Suffolk County Police Commissioner Richard Dormer was criticized:
September 1, 2009 by REID J. EPSTEIN / reid.epstein@newsday.com A Suffolk police officer and Iraq War veteran who criticized Commissioner Richard Dormer at a public meeting has been docked five days pay for his comments. Officer Mike Simonelli, 37, who said he is set to deploy to Afghanistan with his Army Reserve unit, compared Dormer - during testimony before the Legislature's Public Safety Committee - to a turncoat military commander who had defected to the Iraqi side. "That commander who completely decimated the morale of an entire battalion in a combat environment is a great comparison to Commissioner Dormer and what he's doing to the Suffolk County Police Department," Simonelli said July 30 in the public comment portion of the meeting, which he attended while off-duty.
I was always told that If you were NOT happy or fed up with the job you do, then you should quit and let someone that ACTUALLY CARES to do the job a chance. It's not fair that these police people told concerned family members to basically "Go away" becasue their loved one it's a "Prostitute" or works in some form of Sex related business. It is absolutly appalling how they disregarded and judged them all by what they do, and not for who they are as individuals and human beings in the 1st place. And you are there to "Serve and Protect"??? If you can't do the job, A job sooooo important, then get a better replacement and do something else that is less stressful and you can actually be more productive!!
Honestly!!! Think about it!!
unitK9, you refer to mistakes as if you know what mistakes he/she has made. Do you care to enlighten us please as I am not sure what you are referring to. I would assume that any mistake would have led to an arrest, no?
